Well done pundit, but be careful with CHF and GBP in intraday. GBP works best from minimum H1. Here the perfect sail in GBPUSD 5 min:
How do you get the panel clock to the left?
Thank you for responding quickly, but your graphics are not clear for MT4. The time frame is not distinguished, and with the displacement of 26 periods of the Ichimoku, it is difficult to visualize the time of entry.
Could you talk more about your exits? Waiting for opposite signal is good to let run, but it can cost a lot of pips if it recedes.
I went out in the daily resistance before FOMC. Good result. I closed half in 1:1 and the rest in 1.3R.
In this image of you, I marked a possible entry point prior to the one you pointed out. Would it be valid as well?
Of course, it was the perfect entrance, it was the first sign. I took the second one because I was late.
Good operation!
My exits are varied: opposite signal, break of the Tenkan, Kijun, opposite turn or daily gain. Once in break even, it is flexible. If you have suggestions, I listen to them.
My departures today: the official entrance would be at the beginning of the blue rectangle, but I entered late.
I still don't quite understand the exact signals. Ichimoku is already complex by itself. Graphics don't show the cloud well. You could simplify with arrows and without so much "code".
Thank you, but I like volatile pairs. I always put SL.
Here's the clock indicator.
I agree that the way to explain it is confusing. Everyone interprets it differently. I simplify it using only 4 lines in my Ichimoku.
Can anyone share the exact indicator we use here? The downloaded template is different and does not allow me to modify it.
Thank you. Can you share your two settings?
It's hard for me to identify when to enter and when there's no valid signal.
Today again perfect entry in EURUSD 5M. Patience is key, not forcing operations in side markets.
I wish you'd explain it from scratch, because your system is good, but your way of teaching it is for advanced.
I still don't understand the exact twist, when SSA and SSB cross the price many times already made half the tour.
The trick is not just the twist, it is to anticipate the movement of the future lines. That is why I observe the inclination of SSA and SSB before the crossing.
Okay, but that sounds more like subjective interpretation than clear system rules.
The Ichimoku was never 100% mechanical. It is a visual system, who dominates it visually will have advantage.
Then I better change the name: System for visual experts. Those who want green and red traffic lights that look for another thread.
Do you recommend leaving pending orders behind the twist, or do you always wait until the candle closes?
I always wait for closure. False turns are frequent in forming candles.
Perfect, thank you. I had the doubt because sometimes I see the movements start very fast after the twist.
Have you tried this in commodities or just forex?
It works equally well in indexes and raw materials, the important thing is to respect the appropriate time frame for each asset.
In indexes it works great, I tested it on NASDAQ on H1 and captured swings like a clock.
Instead crypto is a disaster, clouds are pure noise in low temporalities.
Crypto requires adaptations, minimum H4 and better to combine with supports/resistances.
It is not that the system fails, it is that not all markets are the same. That some here do not want to accept.
Sometimes it seems that people wait for the Holy Grail where there is none.
I've already earned a couple weeks' pay thanks to the twist this week.
I'm glad to read that, but remember: discipline first of all, not for a few good things to trust.
Could you show a full one-month backtest to see it clearer?
Sure, this week I upload a full January backtest at EURUSD 5M. You'll see the pros and cons.
It would be very useful. With real examples you understand everything better.
