Thread: How long did it take you to stop losing money?

I've been operating on demo for six months and a couple in real, and the truth... I still lose more than I earn. I'd like to know how long it really took them to start being consistent. Not those fake "I made myself profitable in two weeks," but the real thing. How many times did they have to break their heads before they stopped doing nonsense?

I'm honest with you, it took me two years, two years to lose, to get frustrated, to change the system every week and to think the problem was the broker, the problem was me.

I've been here for four years and I'm still not profitable, but I've learned to lose less and not break accounts.

If in six months you're already frustrated, maybe this isn't for you.

The question is not how long it took, but how long you were willing to really learn. Some have been losing for years because they keep doing the same thing waiting for different results.

I was profitable since month 3. But because I didnt go crazy, I studied long before. Its not impossible, but its weird. Yes, I wasnt constant until the second year.

It's been a year and a half, I've busted two beads, but now I'm finally starting to see greens more often. I've had a hard time understanding that not everything is strategy, it's also head.

To those who say they "never lose," I offer to upload their public Myfxbooks. Smoke is sold everywhere. The reality is that we all lose, the difference is how much and how you react.

I also started losing a lot, but the change came when I started writing a trading journal. It seems simple, but it helped me stop repeating stupid mistakes.

At first you think you need the best indicator, and the reality is that you need patience, risk management and stop overtrading.
