Thread: "Assassin Range" System for Asian Sessions

  1. #1
I open this thread to share a system that I have been using for three months exclusively in the Asian session with fairly stable results. I call it "Assassin range" because it is based on exploiting the narrow ranges that usually form between 00:00 and 04:00 GMT. It works especially well in pairs like USDJPY and AUDJPY. Basic rules: Draw the range of the first 3 H1 candles of the Asian session. Put orders pending Buy Stop and Sell Stop at 5 pipes above and below the range. SL 15 pipes, TP 30 pipes. Only one entry per direction.

The key here is not to force operations. If the range is above 25 pipes, I don't operate. And if there's important news in the London session, it's better to stay out.

Today USDJPY broke the range down and reached the TP in less than 20 minutes. I came out manually with +25 because I saw rejection in major support. But the system worked like a clock.

Warning to navigators: this system does NOT work if you are looking for action all day long. It operates little, but when it does, it does well. Not suitable for easy click addicts.

Curious how something so basic can beat so many systems overloaded with indicators. Sometimes less is more.

Today it was SL. The range was very narrow and the price bounced like pin pon ball. It doesnt bother me, its part of the game. The advantage is that the system has a decent risk/benefit ratio.

I have added one condition: only activate the commands if the RSI H1 is between 45 and 55. Thus filter moments without impulse. It has reduced me noticeably SL.

What if instead of pending orders we enter manual when we see rupture with volume? Perhaps we increase precision, although we also lose automatism.

Demo tests for two weeks: 8 trades, 5 TP, 2 SL, 1 BE. Not bad for such a structured system. I will continue testing it before I put real money in it.

The one who said that "only complex systems work": I introduce you to the Killer Range. No magic indicators, no expensive scripts. Just discipline and clear rules.
