Thread: "Tornillo" system: Range + Volume + Patience

After years of testing strategies, bots, signals, and YouTube systems with capital titles and ridiculous promises, I decided to build my own system from scratch. I call it "Tornillo" because instead of nailing me in one direction, I adjust to the market as a thread: tight, I hope, and spin if it touches. Use three basic components: Range detection in H1 (minimum and maximum automatically marked with a 20-period moving average

It is not a holy grail nor does magic. It is a system of patience. Average trades per week: 5. Monthly goal: 5% with a drawdown controlled below 8%.

Today's Trade: Pair: USD/CAD Entry: sale at 1.3682 (rejection of resistance with weak volume breaking)

Do not expect automatic signals or setups every day. If you are bored to wait, this system is not for you. Better go to scalp with Martingala and cross your fingers.

I'm programming an EA for this system, but only for alerts, not for it to operate alone. Discretion in volume analysis is key.

I leave a picture of the setup of EUR/JPY. Two touches in resistance, break with sail without body, green volume going down... classic entry of the Screw.

Some ask if it works in crypto. The answer: yes, but with much more noise. It requires extending the ATR and moving away SL, which reduces lotage and complicates the risk/benefit ratio.

I don't understand how you can trust "volume" in forex if there is no central market. What exactly are you measuring? The volume of your broker? That's like looking at the fish tank to understand the ocean.

Answer for the above: the volume in forex retail is indicative, not absolute. But when you know how to read it together with price action, it becomes a powerful tool. Don't be closed.

This system has helped me avoid going into false breaks, especially in Asian sessions. The volume filter makes all the difference. Thank you for sharing.
