Thread: Harmonic Wave Journal

  1. #1
    Hi,

This will grow to be a journal of my own Elliott Wave practices. I will attempt to stay in focus in my system and analysis and in the end will strengthen my opinion to become a constant trader. Currently it's still an ultimate battle tho.
Because of everyone in this forum for all aid and enjoyable.

The main/primary intention of this practice is to ch the chance to trade the urge waves (1, 3, and 5) at a fashion in a particular timeframe I choose. Secondary chance arrives if there's a relatively large corrective waves (2 and 4) worth to trade with in that particular timeframe.
Currently, I am using m30/h1 to get GBP/USD as primary pair to trade, followed closely by EUR/USD, USD/JPY, and GBP/JPY (rarely tho).

Cable has finished its subwave (orange) 5 upward in 1.9823 this week, signaling the end of wave (red) C upward too. Thus far only 1st impulse wave has been shaped after that, in a 5-wave top angled triangle pattern (currently labeled as subwave 1 or A downward ).
Subwave B or 2 upward will follow next week, retracing back this current fall.

Possible subwave B or 2 upward retracement goals:
    - 38.2percent of subwave 1 or 2 A (1.9823 - 1.9635) in 1.9707.
    - 50% at 1.9729.
    - 61.8percent at 1.9751.
    - 78.6percent at 1.9783.

EUR/USD might have finished its tide (red) 5 upward, finishing its 5-wave sequence beginning from 1.2876 before this year. But this count needs to be confirmed further first. EUR/USD falling below 1.3180 mark will likewise encourage this particular count. An increase over preceding multi-year high at 1.3442 will invalidate it.

No notable gap at this week's receptive so no scalp transactions opened, unfortunately. Gaps are almost always high scalp opportunities on week beginning.
Good luck to everyone this week!

Due man. All the best to you too, simply start it if you are ready.

    Now's recap:
Europe remains observing Easter. EUR/USD retraced a week's collapse abit, but cable keeps falling. Maybe my long trade will get bombed earlier or later.
GBP/JPY did not grow now as anticipated, so cable lost its power too.
Tomorrow the volume will be back to normal. Time to put some action.
