Oh come on... I just wanted to lock 5pips profit... and that is when Murphy's Law re setting SL arrived in:
I'm done for this week: 330 pips with biggest DD on equity ~80pips.
Asians were attempting, but couldn't push it on Friday's powerful resistance area. Brief trade over VAL level with TP.
obtained emotionally stuck on shorts that led to unnecessary trades. Another epic poem SL added to my group (accuracy 0.4 pip) - I am getting better at this. 9 pips for the day.
Time to switch midterm bias. [email protected] with SL few pips above entrance and [email protected]
Nice 1! Let's wait for a pullback.
two more Longs from yesterday: 17 and 33 pips.
Last week VAH appeared like a Wonderful resistance. Doesn't seem so nice anymore, I'm not adding anything to my short.
Not market profile with no quantity... just price buildup
but superior charts
how come u dont use the long-term accumulation vrs. the time accumulation
Volume has nothing to do with Steidlmayer's original idea. And I don't think that it would be any improvement in OTC market.Originally Posted by ;
I do my own study and utilize just those parts that I find helpful. Most important are shapes and loion of few previous profiles - they indie trend's illness (or lack of one), then amounts - POC VAL and VAH - they create great entry points.
As for the trade - this short was not such a bad idea after all. 2 42pips one trade left available.
What support/resistance indior is that??
By the way, you've attracted (I presume that's you, maybe the indior did that also ) lines where there was the maximum price action. No matter how the lines should be drawn where there's the LEAST price action. Then they will reveal to you the true edges of the different Price Pivot Zones.
