*All transactions will be posted live if poss* this is since I'm not using myfxbook for all my transactions and I am hoping that this will cause me to think twice before taking any spontaneous trades.

I am going to begin another trade log as my trading has changed considerably since I started my final journal. I'm not consistently profitable yet but I know I could be if I stopped making needless errors.

Mainly I exchange TT's (touch trades) off substantial levels, retraces of PA bars and Breakout pullback TT's.

I'm logging my transactions so I can reveal, see where I'm going wrong and boost my performance (same old reasons - still the best).

I'd like to send thanks to the following traders that have had a huge influence in my trading and would suggest checking them out if you have not already.

    James16
    Raczekfx
    Lovejoy80
    WMD
    Darkstar
    Trader_dante (trade2win)
    Mbqb11
    Sam Seiden
    Jarroo
    Trade Price
    Chris Lori (excellent trading videos)
    Limey16
    Nasir_khan
    BBmac (trade2win)

Anyway on with all the trading. (which will begin on Monday).

I'm departing the very first position at my very first target which is usually about 1R and the next position I'm shooting for a daily level.

Good luck with the trade direction analysis Majestic, will drive you nuts optimizing certainly keep hard data on your own trades, would also date/time it all too as you may discover there possibly better means of TM than your currently looking at, I assume that your at least 1:1 before taking profit or moving stops?

    Hope things are great

    All the best

    Cheers Sam .

Well here goes with my first transaction and it was a winner. Maybe not been trading like I had some problems to handle. Seems like some pretty crazy volatility around at the minute so I will have to be carefull. Still seen some great opportunities though. I took complete profit here for a 0.7R win. I found a better setup on gold at precisely the same time but I was not ready to enter so I had to leave it (based on my own rules).

I'm taking quick profits at the moment since I don't consider myself good enough to manage or decide on the large swings. I just need to make sure that I select setups which have a high probability of going in my path so that I can get my stop to BE and take profits quite quickly. Just watching ECHF that's looking interesting atm. This transaction was over in a few minutes and was along from how.

I'm enjoying the Oil setup. . .the clear weekly PPZ makes it rather attractive

Hey LJ, Thank you for dropping by.

Entered EP here a little early, realise today that the better level was a bit higher, I'm still struggling a little with the most acceptable area to enter on these TT's but I guess it will come more naturally with experience. My aim was to shoot for the 87.2 place and take the majority of my profit and operate the rest down to 83.1 but came out early since the trade was heading nowhere and I didn't want to leave it on night - little profit here of 0.15R. Not sure if I handled it effectively which probably means I didn't. Price didn't react in the way I'd hoped so I think this warranted adjusting my plan. Price is now making its way down to my very first goal.

PA Commerce on CAD. I enjoy these trades at which price is trending down greatly then leaves some wonderful PA after breaking from a range/level. I used to exchange a lot and I am working on just taking the a ones. I really don't think this is a however because though the PA is fine it hasn't come right up to some decent TL that would have been considerably better.

I took the retrace using a stop over the breakout amount then came from this trade as I thought my broker had made a mistake and given me a far greater price so I came out thinking I had made some free cash but it turns out it had been something to do with the switchover at 8.00pm so they recalcualte all pl that ended up making it look like I had been in profit - not needed this before. Anyway trade went for a nice win after I had closed /

EU trade off daily high and fib confluence. 1R winner using a 15 pip stop. Took full profit in the whole number but I had another smaller place (20%) which I was leaving on to get a bigger goal which was stopped out in BE.

From now on I'll be entering 1 spot which I will depart largely in the FTA and one place that I will either trail or have a bigger fixed goal. That way I'll have 2 sets of outcomes for my trading which I will have to organise in a table somewhere so I can see what the distinction is. That way I'm constantly shooting for runners and also in the exact same time banking some profit.

Hi Limey. Thank you for the well wishes. Yes I'm convinced it will be a challenge. 1 thing I would like to have greater confidence in is the average drawdown for these TT's so I'm going to maintain a log of the including all the trades I have missed as well as those I take.

My aim is always for 1/1 although there possibly some exceptions for this and occasionally I go my stop to BE if price has come back to BE after the first bounce and then removed again in my path by some space.

I take it recommended trading at a minimum of 1/1 before interfering with the trade?

Hope your well and the charity account is still thriving all be in a different format.

Nice to know I have any type traders looking in on the thread that are where I would like to be one day!
