I figured out ways to get MT4 to show the data on this system and now it is updating live. See the page on top for your chart and graph. This saves me a bunch of time every day

The market hasn't been ranging much in the last couple of days and I've had orders that were several days old so that I closed all my orders and turned off the EA for daily. I will open things back up when I see any motion. For today, I feel it is not a fantastic time to use it. Today would be a much better time to use a breakout egy such as the Big Dog.

    Reduction of -$6.24 for daily

I think you are doing good considering the conditions.

Could you point me to the instructions to determine how you receive your chart linked to the account statement and have the live upgrade like that?

    Thanks,
    PD

    PistolDave:
    Thanks.

Here is how you do it. First, to edit the basic information shown in the Template (like account numbers and your name), then go to the folder were your templates are kept for your MT4. In my situation, it is: C:\Program Files\Interbank FX Trader 4\templates

Now, MT4's publisher feature uses the statement.htm template to post to your ftp site. I wanted to utilize the StatementDetailed.htm. Thus, create a backup copy of your statement.htm document, I renamed mine into statement.htm.old

Next, create a duplie of the StatementDetailed.htm and name it statement.htm
Hence, MT4 will utilize it since the template when it uploads the statement. Next, open the new statement.htm file which you created (I used notepad) and loe and eliminate the stuff you do not want. It is pretty much all.

Now, to get a particular time frame to show up on the statements, then you want to have MT4 ready to go. Next, click on the Account History tab in the bottom of your Terminal. Click anywhere in the Account History and click on 'Custom Stage'. Set to. In my case, I set it to 9/15/2008 to 12/1/2008. So I do not need to alter it every 16, I set it.

For some reason, MT4 will place a statement using the dates which you set here. Additionally for some reason, MT4 will flashed the dates from the Account History tab. It's once a day, sometimes it's every couple of days. I can't find a motive for it.

I trust this helps you out.

I opened trading up tonight and I will give another update tomorrow on how it did.

I can not wait to see that your results! I will be placing this back on again this week with a few more currencies, spread out a bit more than I have, together with 0.01 lots. I will also be testing out my Weighted Escalator System . There's no reason I can not get my cake and eat it too, although it is more of a fad system!

Nanningbob, I am totally ripping off you and trading the pairs you posted in another thread, except for the 3 most volitile: EURAUD, GBPUSD (this one got me in trouble last week!) and GBP/CHF. Since I basically leave my EA's running all day while I am on the job, I don't need these three in my own body. I hope you do not mind that I am stealing more ideas out of you

Due Frosty. I didn't know you can do that with MT4. It'll come in handy I am sure.
