Thread: A coder for Market Profile indior?

  1. #1
    hey guys

    just require a small bit edit on this indior.

    Should connect some traces together from top to low to generate a triangle.

    Can someone help me ?

    What I want is exactly shown in picture

    from POC to top on lineup, and mirror it using precise size to non.

    I've analyzed the MP indior on the dwell Market feed and that which seems to be updating correctly, I've added in 3 inputs concerning the trendlines so that the trendlines could be turned on/off and two variations may be used.
    ShowTrendlines = true; true/false screens or eliminates the trendlines
    ShowHiLoTrendlines = true; true= trendlines set from Top to non - false=trendlines sets low trendline ( mirrored ) using the High trendline data
    TrendlineColor = Silver; trendline color

    Mirrored trendlines employing the High trendline data for the lower trendline

    That's because it is a classic indior, and either needs to be re-coded to comply with construct 600 , or compiled using MetaEditor/compiler construct 509 (which I've done, and connected the resulting EX4).

    I have upgraded the code to work on the latest MT4 build 1090, I did put this up with #property strict but the indior compiled with no errors it had an array out of range issue, and so I removed the strict code since that was the easiest solution. I am on holiday and don't have the opportunity to type out the array issue. Everything seems to be fine though I have not tested it on a Market.

    NOTE : I have noticed on a Live Market feed that the current gray panel color updates to a lighter colour on every new tick so it clearly has a bug of some type inside, I don't have the opportunity to chase that issue down (I am away on holiday for another 4 weeks) so maybe somebody else could have a peek at it. I shall leave the indior on this post in the hope another coder may download it and fix the problem while I am away.
    If you download this indior please be aware that it will have an issue as described above.

    Has anyone done a egy test using 1 to 1 . .sl at bottom or top of the mp range and aim 1 to 1? Seems like a no brainer good basic egy at first blush. Curious to see the result.
