I was great until yesterday... now things are feeling odd... I believe I don't wish to be in any transactions for tomorrows NFP.... I was leery of the adp number yesterday.... Was not even close to what was predicted... makes me thinkg numbers are just being pulled from a hat to suit whatever the need at the moment....
I would think near CHristmas that there is minimal volume which would mean perhaps bigger swings and moevments... don't know if that is good or not...

I spotted this Daily snare setting off from 618 Fib retracement...
I just entered off of the corresponding 4H snare that only shaped... so this is a fairly good installation...

I will explain this in detail once I do the videos... thanks for the good comments.
Mr fad,
I'd luv it if you made some videos of futures and options,
your thread rocks.
Also wondering do you hedge each trade in futures with
a option, or would you just do that under certain conditions?

See pics. If we receive a break of 109, USDJPY is gont move. And I need to be sure I'm on it. I will enter brief on a verified break AND THEN pullback.
OR
I will enter immediately on the break. It is different. If I see a strong momentum, I will just get on when we split it. Everything is dependent upon how competitive you are as a trader. I'm fairly aggressive depending on how the market is reacting.
Now why would I be competitive with this movement? Because of one large reason -- if it breaks this little support, price is gonna want to make it to the bottom of the descending triangle...

Alright. I had stated earlier in my posts I was out at around 0640...
But I got up this morning, and I started thinking about this pinbar. Can be a pinbar going to go 100 pips and then that's it? Very rarely. Usually, there is a pinbar the start of a fall.
So... I transferred my profit goal around 0460. And I'm glad I did. We went through first support this morning just like knife through butter...
Giving another go mate
25, 150, and 365...Quote:

Well, as usual you may be right... since I have not lived in a small indiana town of 450 !!! But That's a huge gap and moving back I can not find many occasions that a gap will probably remain open long... I'm leery... I got out of the triggered PB at this mornings smallest so far... we have run down a complete 500 pips siince the down turn started... some retrace is due perhaps, to come up and shut the gap ( ? ) Then I shall look to short again... Bu tmy CAD long remains open...

My 0772 limitation did activate. So I am currently short. I will be seeking to climb in at a rest of 0750 (see jpeg), or a pullback into 2.0890 (resistance)...
I've additionally mimicked my profit target to 2.0630 in a trendline dip on 4H...

You will observe that hooks and I will play very very aggressively. Both from a trade setup point of view, and from a MM standpoint as well. I really don't suggest this if you're new.
Money in trading is created from getting in the market with the most risk you can take at the right times. For me, if I see a pinbar on a weekly or daily, I will input around 2-3 percent risk, and then double that at another trade installment.
By way of example, this week I am looking at getting in on the gap drama, and then scale-in on the break of the snare.
At that point, assuming it hits both limitations, I'm in at around 6-8 percent risk. However, this is accepted by me. And that's what is critical.
All other trade setups are 3 percent per transaction.
This week will probably be all about enjoying with this cable trade suitably. If I get just 1 transaction I still need it to be in cable.
Exited Standing from Friday:
Economy Limit @ 2.0872 Exit 2.0787 85 Infection
Limit orders put as follows:
Limit Sell @ 2.0900 SL 2.1160 TP 2.0640 (this can be a difference play. I might take heat up to my very first projection of 2.0980, but that does not bother me. Typically, when you receive gaps, you are able to play the difference and sell/buy and price will go your way... sometimes it will not work.)
Limit Sell @ 2.0775 SL 2.1160 TP 2.0640 (scale-in or initial trade depending on if the first Limit hits)
Yet another trade I might enter this week. It is dependent upon whether or not I scale on my futures contracts (GBP and GBPJPY)

One thing that I needed to point out. When you visit my screenshots, you may ask yourself doesn't he get in precisely where he placed his small X? , or is it not exact?
The answer is that I generally seem in the region of the X, OR, in the event of limit orders (which many of mine are), I like round numbers.
All of the things you heard Jacko say have been around for quite a while, folks. It is not rocket science. I've been using round numbers and I'm tellin' ya, what Jacko says is golden.
Utilize them. It works. That's why if I've confluence of all Fibs, SR, AND I also get 00's... man, that's a warm and fuzzy feeling...
Yeah... sigh... I love you too man...Quote:
