Just wondering is there's an indior out there that will sound an alert when price has travelled x number of pips AWAY from an MA, NOT towards.

Example: 15min chart price has proceeded bullish 300pips out of 200ema, I have set an alert for 300pips from stated ma, I receive an alert and that I take a manual market position.

I already use a visual on the MT4 ma levels option but a sound would be far better.

    Many thanks
    .

    Hi code meister,

thank you for your help and I really apreciated, it's not like the MA I need. I only need the standar MA alternative with the alert level signal.

It utilize EMA not MA, there is no option to decide to utilize sma.

I wonder there's no one, I have been searching for a weeks.

Here, just modded it so you slect the kind of MA you want. In your case just make InputMAtype = 0 and you'll have a easy MA.

Hi thank you for your help... I am very apreciated, you make it to use with the SMA.
However there is no= employ tofeature on that, actually I want this apply feature.
And there is no flat line on such pipmark variant.

Please I hope you can do altered to the first MA standar at MT4 that have all complete feature to possess alert on level value I put in.

There is periode, shift, apply to, level at standar MA...

I hope this is the ideal file from indior mt4, because I have no coding knowledge.

    thx

    Hi Flyer415 and CodeMeister,

Many thanks to the indior and modifiions you have made, I've tested it and it is exactly what I've been on the lookout for. Much appreciated. If a Pipsmark 4 is ever released might I suggest the additional purpose of an alarm that repeats for a moment or so just for scenarios in which a trader is away from their PC or in a different room and the volume is turned up.

    Cheers

Actually, this material is fairly straightforward to modify.

I suggest you have a peek at some code and some tutorials out of CodersGuru.

Modifying an present indior to offer additional inputs and alerts is the simplest of tasks. I learned it over the past year just so I could get an indior how I wanted it.

    Love.

CodeMeister (and many others interested who could be assisting ),

that I might have the wrong indior to do what I need

I must be obtuse, but I have been inside and around and up and down together with the PipsMarkV3 and I can't get it to do exactly what I'm attempting to do. Not saying it is not a great workable indior, also it seems to be doing exactly what was'promoted' here (if I might use that term). I just think I'm trying to have it to do things it was not designed to do.

Let me explain my problem that way.

I have a 60sma tracking along and I wish to understand (inside a settable amount of pips from 0 to whatever) when price is that pip setting from the SMA. Say that the price is currently coming from beneath the SMA and the alert is silent. When the price reaches a stage (state 5.0 pips off ) in the current value of this 60sma, I would like the indior to inform me.

Further, If I were to set the indie at zero the alert should not go off before the current price equals the SMA value.

PipsMarkV3 seems to be doing exactly the opposite of what I am searching for. The arrow and the alert are emerging when the pips under the SMA surpass the established value. It seems to me like it's I want to know when it's so many pips headed away - not what I am searching for.

Do I have that correct, or am I hopelessly screwed up in my own thinking?

I have done a tiny resetting and shing of color values or default settings in other MQ4 documents but that is beyond my limited coding understanding (if I dare refer to it that way).

    A second question about PipsMarkV3

And while I have your attention, I've got another question. I see all of the settable parameters addressed in the current version coder notes except that the following:

InputMift -- I understand that one, I think (just how many bars you need the MA changed with a negative or positive #)

InputMAprice --There doesn't seem to be a justifiion for this particular user-settable parameter. What role is it playing in the script? I don't understand what it's doing or how to put it.

Anyway that's my question (or two questions actually).

Thank you for the generous spirit which many of you show. I also am helping others out when it seems like that I would know more than they around a given subject, but I would like you to understand you are appreciated.
