JohnW - thanks for a fascinating method.
I did a (very preliminary) backtest on Forextester with 100 transactions and got the following effect:

    0.78 trades per day
    win rate 48 percent
    average win/average loss 1.24

Also, the method appears to work best if the initial breakout happens before or at Frankfurt open, and even better if it moves against a nearby support/resistance area.

Absolutely, this seems promising so I'll continue testing.

Forgot to mention that I just trade the GBPUSD with this method for today - because of the oftentimes narrow oriental range and strong breakout at London open.

John, does your current method work for other pairs too?

Additionally, do you think that SL and TP should be adapted to changing market volatility (ATR) over time? Daily ATR range of GBPUSD oscillated between 100 and 200 for most of the time in the previous 10 years or so with one spike in 2008/09 (ATR 300-400).

Hope Im not too much of a hassle with my questions. .

It is so funny to see a so-called sacred grail become a breakout/reverse system.

Year in, year out, there is always new ppl entering the identical circle cycling.

In your first post you wrote:

there's just 1 reason why a vendor/mentor will not disclose a live account announcement.

Now I really wonder why your Trade explorer isn't live, so everybody would be able to see (reside) that forex isn't a scam and somebody can really make money always and in the front of their eyes. I have enormous respect for such individuals as trading isn't an easy thing.

The very simple but frequently hard reality to grasp is that a simple moving average crossover egy will be profitable in the future if appropriate money management is employed. Few have the patience for the long run.
