POLL: Are you profitable? Is the 95% losers myth true?

14 vote yes (profitable)
19 votes no (non profitable)

In my opinion these numbers are just ridiculous (sorry for that), but let's try to understand what's happening here, since I'm convinced nobody is deliberately lying on an anonymous survey, so there has to be an excuse.

And here's mine:

Simply put, there's a recrunt procedure from the retail forex market that goes like this:
retail trader come, stay in the company for a couple months/years, shed its money and return to his life.
So, every year we've got lots of new traders and we shed lots of old traders, there's similar to a generational change occurring continuously.
And that is why the retail-business-model do operate, there's always new people, new suckers when we would like to say such as that.

I'm fairly sure most (if not all) of the 14 yes votes comes from people who are trading out of a few months, and will probably be gone in a few more weeks.

Damn I'm soo pessimistic.

the principal thing that I cant get it in my head the rationale individuals who don't believe on Foreign Exchange market as business still rounding within this sort of websites ...

I dont enter betting websites because I dont like it , I dont enter soccer websites because I believe it is a waste of time however I like to play in real life.

I mean if some one don't like something or believe it is scam why to bother and try to change other people believes... nothing in your pocket.

But I have to be here to find out,take advice and try to assist other members if I could.

Anyone can be a winner at retail forex short term. No one is a winner in retail forex long term.
And, being a professional full time retail forex trader feels fantastic, until all of the money runs out.
The winner / loser ratio is a simple Gaussian distribution. The humble averages or law will be certain that some people at any given moment will be winners - and even large winners!
It's evident that in any given time you'll have a percentage of losers and winners (always more losers than winners). But what exactly does it mean? There's not any doubt that some players can make a couple pips for some time (and that is good!) . . Unfortunately, being profitable during any given quarter does not mean it's sustainable for any specific individual.
What many fail to understand is that from period to period you are not looking at exactly the same individual losers and also the same man winners. The winners of now become the winners of tomorrow and fewer winners may become winners to replace the defunct winners that have joined the status of the winners. How do I know this? It's because the data consistently shows more losers! One caveat: A necessity is that new traders have to always join the match. The new traders would be the gas (new currency) of this dwindling spiral. It'll continue to spin downward -- and feed the forex industry -- as long as new players arrive in-- incidently this clarifies why the forex currency has a proliferation of commercial calls into the masses to provide forex a try. The water is nice material is always loud and clear. Obtaining new bodies at the sport is vital for the survival of the business. The real money is not created in the trading, but at the sale (of retail forex associated goods and services).
In case you don't understand or know this already; you continue to be in the deer in the headlight phase.

My motive?
I like to understand/learn how things goes in this world, the way the various systems coexist and interact with each other, and why things goes the way that they goes.

Out of your defensive article I can see that you think to be (or dream to be) a profitable trader, and you feel hurt by my own statements.

Except for that, this thread is actually nothing about being private, I know everybody here belive in the forex dream and when reading that such issue is only a dream somebody may get mad and defensive, but that's alright this is also part of the system, so whoever wish to respond back and argue with me or tell me I'm wrong and whatever simply do it!!!

Just to be clear I do not say longterm constant profitability is not possible, but I say it do require an immense amount of intelligence and comprehension of the way the human mind and the world operate, and my concept here is that just 1 person every thousand (or even 1 person every billion) can achieve it, I opened the poll to prove my theory right, but rather the numbers are what they're

any way every man have a fantasy.... Every day countless fantasy come out inside people heads a few of them consider it seriously and a number of them maintain it as fantasy.

Thanks god till today I achieve a lot of thing and am sure ... 100% a can make something from this major game.

It's Difficult to change some ones believe and I dont think it is great place to discus this item today so we dont alter the main subject of this thread but can till that take one week away from work and Have a round around the city that you live and try to view everything in different way that you was seeing it before

Wow thank youpersonally, I enjoy reading that sort of books, this particular one I've never heard of before. .
So, I am planning to give it a glance, it appears already intriguing!

Incidentally, maybe I was too much pessimistic in my last post (and the one before!) , all I wanted to point out is that company is really not an easy one, ok 1 person every million (or thousand) is probably too much extreme, let us just say that in the very long run it may be accurate!
