    um. . Ok
I needed a minute so I whipped this up.... Its not exactly what are looking for, but possibly close (?) Anyways its the best I can do with time and info available. . Maybe u can modify it to more precisly match ur needs

mt4 includes only 5 and 15 min charts (I think there is not any 10min). . So I doubled ur 30 sma to use on 5 min chart (60sma). . I set awake to ding when price crosses sma. . Next I make it dings again (different audio) when the price travels around 5-7 pips away from the sma. . Either can be flipped on/off from the parameters box which opens when indior is filled

I thouht this could at least alert u when conditions are very similar to what you discribed, (as a cross should occur before the sma value will change by 5 pip) such as an early warning. . Anyways maybe somebody or un with more time can make it into fit ur needs. .

    rgds...

oh ya. . Ps didnt test it out... but I think that it works

    Agent2005,

With regards to charts that provide you audible alerts etc, you may choose to check in XTick. They have a monthly fee (it was $85 final time that I used them) but it may be worth some time. The alert setup is very versatile where you are able to color code your chart etc.. It's fairly a nifty package if you're prepared to cover it. You can exhibit 1 pair (CHF in the moment) for free, so that will provide you a fantastic idea if this is for you or not. Cheers.

    Hi dsvt1,
Why did you delete the MQL you'd attached to your post. I didn't download it, and I like to find out exactly what you did if that's OK.

    Thanks

    Hey Buff,

that I dowloaded their platform, and checked out their alarms function. Regrettably, as far I could tell, they simply have:

    gt; Price
    gt;= Price
    lt; Price
    lt;= Price

I really do appreciate your input though. I fear that Dialist is right, I may have to learn the language that is coding.

I've got an MQL indior for MetaTrader that someone else wrote for me that makes a sound when the indior crosses a specific level. I am aware of two metatrader programmers on this forum that may chime in here to help you out. I wont say who they are 'cause I really don't know one of these well, and the other wants to maintain their anonymity. Search for a metaquotes forum for a start. Or, you can do what I am doing and get started learning to program metatrader yourself! It's not too difficult! (at least that is what I keep telling myself )

Here are 3 resources I've found useful.

First is a guy on another forum that has been posting MQL classes and also you can post questions back. Here's the URL to the very first lesson:

    http://www.forex-tsd.com/showthread.php?t=134

Additionally, I've read that MQL is very closely associated with the C programming language. Perhaps dsvt1 will deny/confirm this. If true, then here's a link to some wonderful C tutorial.

Thirdly, I've attached the MQL tutorial in the MetaQuotes website. It's a CHM help file. Just unzip the file to your desktop and start it.

Don't be overwhelmed. You will become good enough at MQL to allow it to do what you want if you'll learn only a little every day.

Once you enter a bit, start studying the code that other people have written. The kiss.mql file that dsvt1 composed for you is a fantastic place to start.

    Hope this helps.
