Thread: Average daily range statistics

    Hello

Would anyone know or did about script/indior that will collect statistics of how frequently Typical Daily Range (14) of given instrument was achieved, not achieved and overshot and by how much pips?

So for example GBP USD has ADR of 90 pips (14 days). I'd love to have stats how many days this 90 pips was achieved/overshot/not achieved and how many pips was the gap... Some days it'll have 70 pips, some days 120 pips and some approximately 90 pips ( /- 10 pips) that is okay.

Given that the ADR is going to differ every day as it's following a moving average, whats so special about today's ADR(14) worth and how far back in history would you like to compare why?

Obtaining the data by means of a script is simple but you probably ought to reconsider what it is you are searching for and why.

You need to reconsider why and what you're looking for although finding the information via a script is easy enough.
It enables me to fine tune the TP/SL for your day of set-forget momentum procedure. 2 rankings are typically used by me. One 1.5R and second open (without TP).
