Thread: My Pin Scouter Indior for use with Pin Trading

  1. #1
    Hello friends of forexforum.co.za forum,

I'm Louizos Alexander Louizos. I have expertise in programming out of my computational quantum mechanics history.

You know pins. They're a superb trading pattern.

You will find out more about pins here:

    https://www.forexforum.co.za/trading...s-reality.html

I've generated an indior that automatically loes Pins in charts.

Duplie it /experts/indiors folder and activate it on a chart.

You will need to open a new chart should you want to reopen it since the candles that are recognized are not removed.

Use candlesticks and disable auto scroll in chart to observe the past recognitions.

I discuss it with you in order to exchange opinions about it's functionality and optimize it.

The indior is based on a revised version of Pattern Recognition Indior for candlesticks.

Let me know what you think about this and we'll work it out together.

I'm not experienced with pin trading. If you are please let me know your trading configurations and I will create an expert advisor .

The Final Variant of the EA sets stop losses in the High or Low of the Pin
(depends upon Commerce position). That is the reason why there is not any Stop reduction in settings.

The take profit is the Low or High of this Pin and also the Take Profit in inputs.

This version operates on 5 digit brokers as it is and it's been backtested with FXCM MT4 the FRWC developers edition, in 1 Hour TimeFrame for EURUSD.

I am still refining the code, the pin pattern recognition as well as also the trading algorithm. There are a few adjustments needed to improve the code.

Overall the Pin Trading notion is worthwhile the time needed to refine it since the results are very encouraging.

I will post any changes that I will make. There is a lot to be done prior submitting the EA.

    OK Aleko,
Here are a few initial filters:
    1. The pinbar should be traded long only when EMA(21) is over EMA(50) (reverse for short). The EMA should be user defined (e.g. for different timeframes possibly EMA(6)) over EMA(21) is more useful)
    2. I haven't played with your indior but not all pinbars are good. The best are those with long tail along with also their own body should be contained inside the previous pub.
    3. There should be a user. Normally SL is 5-6 pips disperse over the pinbar. TP should be a sum of pips equal to the SL for half of the position and the other half at 2*SL
    4. Trade is started when price clears the pinbar with a user specified amount of pips (depending on the timeframe this can alter, e.g. for a 4hr pinbar a minimum of 10 pips before the transaction is started)
    5. Time filters: transaction only 6-18:00 GMT (user defined), do not exchange on Fridays, do not exchange 1hr earlier and 1hr after announcements
    6. Finally an ADX filter should be contained since best trades happen whenever there is a trend (e.g. adx(14)gt;20 should allow a transaction to occur)

If you manage to incorporate the filters they should be user defined (ON or OFF).
I really hope this doesn't seem like a nanotube separation....

I feel an EA similar to this would be rather helpful in evaluating the method over many pairs along with timeframes. Remember that there is another way to exchange the pinbars from the transaction but utilizing divergence within an indior confirmation. This really has success as described above we can add this 18, but if you make the EA.

XAIRETISMATA and I hope I did not tire you.

    KOSTAS.

Thank you very much for the particulars Kosta.

It isn't very complied. It is less difficult than nanotubes... :--RRB-

The only think that's difficult is that the News Filter however I think I've an excess
EA that will have the ability to deal with this.

I will earn a Pin Trading EA based on your recommendations and share it here to Boost together. When ready I will ping you.

    Ta leme Kostas!
