I am with you. My job takes 10 hours a day of my entire life. Fantastic cover. Not my dream. That is why I miss a lot of good entries and exits. However, I accepted it the way it is. I shall keep until I'll be consistent in my trading. Just like you said. It pays bills. I'll be residing traiding life one day. That is my objective !

    REPORTING BACK:

General sense: this opens your eyes to what is possible. However, to judge the fundamental undercurrent I believe I must see a lot of business news from people with boots on the floor.

How it influenced my trading: I got all directions appropriate (was it a fluke?) But failed to exchange JPY, GBP (meeeting), AUD or NZD.
Should of been more aware of the crosses (non USD pairs). Still, got EUR weakness right UC Short later in the week was also good (can of held more if not at work). I believe I need to participated in UJ long.

I still have a lot to learn, obviously!

An experience worth repeating. Well suggested.

    Everything I wrote before:
    =============

My take on the news for next week and also what I expect (I've not read others' opinions nevertheless).

EUR - some slowdown in action (probably trade anxieties), business climate still positive, stronger labour market, inflation quickening although not much (yet). QE still in full swing. Expect EUR to weaken a little. ECB might signal a tighter monetary policy. Doubtful at this point as trade and Brexit anxieties stay front and centre.

USD - Housing market stable, optimism at high levels but trade anxieties, occupation good, inflation picking up. Expect USD to strengthen.

AUD - No inflation fears, weaker economic activity. Expect AUD to stay weak.

CAD - Behind the curve compared to US on economic activity and inflation. Inflation starting to pick up. CAD is strengthened by Brent increasing.

JPY - Nevertheless weak economic action, no inflation fears, anticipate accommodative CB, weaker JPY, unless volatility spikes, subsequently JPY will profit.

GBP - Weaker economic action. Inflation fears seem to have passed. Brexit hiccups. GBP place to weaken.

Helped me a lot with the euro commerce, when Draghi began talking and euro was rallying it helped me not close the trade and understand far more what he was saying during his speech.

It also helped me figure out much more the direction which I wished to trade. Making the calendar myself, writing what I thought about the central bank speeches and hand composing the events next to my computer assisted me considerably more than simply looking at theforexforum.co.zaCalendar.

At the start of the week I was kind of paralyzed, as it takes me some time to warm my trading up after the weekend haha. I had been focused too much on the fundamentals rather than seeing price action and loion .

I need also to work on how much has an expectation or news been priced at the market before the actual data is released.
you called everything right this week out of the calendar. You have the fundamental analysis on stage too

, how can you balance your life about Forex? You seem not to sleep like yesterday. Or did you awaken at 4 am to GBP news?

BEWARE: I am hearing that NAFTA deal can be reached this weekend.

Better to shut all positions over the weekend.
