Confidence this is quite low, even if the rates are so high its investing in bonds as they pay you with depreciated currency, the dollar doesn't hold if the central bank tries setting millions and millions of dollars to the market. USDARS might reach 30 pesos by the end of the year. Inflation is of 25.6 percent haha! Not certain why you'd be bullish on CAD considering NAFTA stays the massive problem and yes inflation looks large, but it overlooked that the markets expectations and Poloz stated he was searching for more. If we did notice a little bit of drawback it would be caused by profit taking.

I would not state that the USD is overbought. The market has been responding to yields touching 3% and there is even talk of this being as large as 3.5% to 4% by year end. I wouldn't say the dollar is overbought in comparison to some currency right now because the FED are in a trekking cycle. Take into account that the FED is not fully data dependant the market doesn't respond to every economic data release we get via the calendar. For instance look at the USD GDP release Friday just gone, there was little response.

Reaction can come after May 2nd or right before rate decision.IMO USD sell off onward for the remainder of the month most probably.
In fundamental conditions USD is priced in cross the board. UJ is example quit going north and that is true all majors

I have been made aware that Barclays anticipate weak dollar selling for month end flows.

In regard to CAD I am struggling to see any fundamental that could make it bullish. Oil gains will purely just be opinion for CAD with the major factors being good CPI a Nafta deal that will make it bullish.

I'm bullish on the CAD vs USD not so against AUD NZD or Yen so UC could fall by just weakness of USD and not necessarily strength of the CAD

Agree with GS re NU trade - far too much USD strength to consider the long on NU. Hi friend sometimes its the result of entries from preceding week when orders were correct but PA acted otherwise and what preceding was R61 new week might be R38 and orders are still appearing shabby as a result.THis is why we trade small and have wider stops.I strongly dislike any reference to martingale because our positions are continuous meaning lots don't shift and we do possess stops.

I had a deep understanding nearly 3years ego when discovered the Pivots and completely changed my trading then seriously begun to employ Mark Douglas principles rather than seemed back.Some items come together right time right trigger.

Wednesday (25 April 2018)
I was already in the EURAUD trade so there wasn't any purpose of me being worried about putting my money into two or more trades when I can actively add to my current trade when the probabilities become more favorable.

Thursday (26 April 2018)
Closed my EURAUD trade. Entered on EURCAD. That I believed had a more potential to drop in the point. Still holding this trade.

Summary: The Calendar groundwork assisted me in filtering which trades to not take even the real data came what was expected in the trading plan.

P.S I have a Fulltime project which I love. I have accepted that most of the time I'll overlook the trades however, the most important for me is to not take the trades that were incorrect.
