Thread: Need EA coded...if its possible

The indior attached is a MTF DMI indior. I have noticed that when I run it on a 5 minute chart but put on a 15 min timeframe that it will check every 5 minutes and set it's colour based on that 5 minutes block and not repaint in the conclusion of each 15 min. The caveat is that if I close my mt4 or modify the time frame change it back the information is subsequently repainted based on this 15 min's close. Whereas if I hadn't shut the chart it might have two reds and a blue to get a period. After refresh it would have 3 blue if that was the colour of the previous 15 minute block around the 5 minute chart.

Now I really don't know if it is possible but I had been hoping an EA may be produced with a few inputs which could manually be put in. Basically I'd like to be able to run the EA and be able to set the indior up for a different time framework of my picking.

As an example : I could run the EA on a 5 minute time frame and it would trade based on whatever settings I put in for your indior. Say just like a 15 minute DMI with a 30 minute DMI with 16 period DMI_smoothing or 21 period DMI_smoothing.

As for your trade implementation I'd like it to basically maintain the market in any way times. If the DMI block is blue or red on candle near the EA should check. If it is blue it ought to be at a buy. If on candle near the cube turns red then the EA should close the buy and sell.

Would be great if there was an input signal to have a hard stop loss. Also one for many lots to exchange each trade. I think being able to set the time that the EA would operate would be great.

Considering that the EA will not be back test-able, due to the issue with repainting if the chart is altered in any way, it is going to take a lot of forward testing on a demo account to obtain the best settings but I'm willing to spend time and discuss my findings with the neighborhood. Anyway. . .let me know when someone can do this.

This is not something I'm gont cover to have done. No offense to anybody. I don't have any idea if the idea will pan out thus was only using an EA completed so I could forwards test the idea more easy and share my results. I will do it manually just fine obviously. It is not a difficult task. So if anybody wants to code it for free that's cool but I will not be paying anybody to get it done. I don't know if it will make cash. Lots of aspects. DMI settings for various time frames and perhaps best trading instances of the evening. Lots to test that is forward. Anyways. . .if someone does it good. . .if not I shall press on without it.

This is a picture of what I am discussing. This is a 15min chart. The mtf indior is setup with setting of 14 to demone a 30 min DMI. If it had maybe a move or a trailing stop feature to crack after a specific point, so the EA will be great. The egy ches moves but also gets faked out a lot. Thus the motions for gains would negate some of those fake outs and overcome a stop reduction.

Anyhow there's a lot of forwards testing on different time frames and different dmi settings that needs to be performed to loe optimum settings. That's where the EA will help a lot.

Been attempting to fool around and put an EA myself. Hasn't gone. I know I need an order-swap inside it since it will close and opening an order dependent on the indior shing from blue. Just not sure how to get it to operate. Will keep on plugging away.

Carson : I have been trying to work on something similar.
My concept is dmi h4 sets the tendency h1 entrance and exits.
Please have a look at the chart setting is.
When both go reddish sell when both go blue buy(trend changes)
when h4 crimson and h1 blue then red market vise versa for buys(retracement trades)
