Thread: Return, risk and account size ?

    Hello,

That is my very first post here and I am attempting to figure out what traders consider as a decent yearly return based on their account size.
Someone using a $5000 account surely finds ridiculous a return of 20 percent/year even with a very small risk,
but using a $5000000 accounts any egy returning this type of return with low risk is worth it. (well at least this is my own impression)

For those here trading with real money, what do you consider has the minimum decent yearly return based on someone's account size ?
And what is your perfect return/maxdrawdown ratio ?

I'd consider 30%-35% minimum return as a great one.

With accounts the yield of annual 100-200% appears good.
My goal is 500% however will see.

Max drawdown I expect is about 20%, so far 10% has been the worst one.
