Thread: MACD XO Window - generating pop-up alerts

Hi Guys.

I run 20 pairs, each includes an initial chart which then drives an M2 Offline chart showing Range Bars that I currently have set to 10 pip size.

Among the egies I use is very simple. Bearing in mind tendencies, SR etc , I shall simply trade range bar charts using MACD crossovers, in which the settings for the MACD are 38, 120, 20. I use an overlaid hedging as well to provide me 2nd or even 3rd snacks at every cherry if things go awry but that is not the point of the query.

My point is this: Normally, with range bars on an offline chart that this means I have to visit a signal on the offline, then proceed into the identical online, to set the trade. So, with a couple of different pairs running I have 45 charts open and handling them when the markets are busy is chy!

What I want is basically an expansion of a MACD XO Alert. I do have the alert, which shows up or down arrows on each signal, but I would like it to generate the pop-up alerts box so wherever I am from the platform it will pop-up and alert me into some MACD XO on a particular pair.

Here is the alert indior - any help about the best way best to take this from showing an arrow to incorporating a pop-up will be appreciated. Thanks!

Here is the mq4 file you're looking for - I need a pop-up box myself so hopefully someone will be able to add some code.
This alarm signal has the benefit of putting an arrow on screen when the MACD amounts are crossed and if they are recrossed on the same candle, then the arrow is eliminated.
Is it feasible to put in a window alert to this indior based on the same princple please?
