Usually I select EURUSD GBPUSD USDJPY USDCHF, because they're moving, but lately they are not.

USDJPY and EURJPY, also trying to USDZAR and USDMXN - basically you can get 25 pips everyday from each pair, but it Is really difficult to do, because they are unstable

Yes it will leave a lot of money on the table, but I wouldn't say that it will not make sense. You also leave a lot of risk on the table. Risk-reward are always inversely related. Plus you can get better at trading which currency vs trading many which all behave otherwise.

exotic pairs are always unstable. More than fundamental pairs throughout news, no matter at what time can you trade.

P.S. I trade during day sessions eurusd usdchf and usdjpy during nighttime periods. Also, trading expotics time to time

    About 3-4 pairs: USD/CHF something like that . Also I'd recommend for newbies: EUR/USD, GBP/USD, AUD/USD and NZD/USD just. For seasoned trader: EUR/USD, GBP/USD, AUD/USD, NZD/USD, USD/CHF, USD/JPY, EUR/JPY, GBP/JPY, AUD/JPY XAUUSD.
There is absolutely no need to be sprayed on the listing of pairs, many traders are generally concentrated only on one device, and at precisely the exact same time earn fantastic money. Specialization has not been canceled. 1 pair is enough to become a richman

I've got 4 pairs in my displays (EUR/USD, GBP/USD, AUD/USD, USD/JPY) however most of the time I am watching only 2 of them.

    5 Pairs

    EURUSD, GBPUSD, AUDUSD, NZDUSD, XAUUSD.

Frequent denominator is they all finish with USD - which means they have exactly the identical tick value- 15 pips on GBPUSD is exactly the identical value as 15 pips on NZDUSD, which simplifies currency management purposes.
    - I find it easier to focus on single currencies rather than pairs since they're all based in USD.

31, basically everything FXCM has to offer minus ZARJPY and anything with a CHF in it. I'm a semi long term trader and only consider technicals, nothing else disperse is not really something that I worry about.

I exchange a hotforex account and currently I state I exchange about 3 pairs shirts, mostly interconnected.

Normally a few, but occasionally if I feel a little mad the number can go up to 8. I must not trade more than a few.
