It helps me focus solely on the trade which should be the situation.
Couldn't have said it focus more on the commerce and less about the money. Additionally, study a method and timeframe that suits you, utilize sound money management methods, master your personal plogy, and trade small till you have a specific level of success.

Trading is a travel - do not expect to attend a few days convention and be equipped to be a successful travel. Have you ever heard of anybody who learnt how to swim through studying a book on swimming.

In my opinion, everyone needs to develop their own travel.

    Edit:'m still discovering my own.

All of these are very good resources thanks to posting them. I agree with Arto that money management is very important. I don't think you can ever succeed without it.

I appear to be a lot luckier nowadays. It's taken me 2 - 3 years and today I'm making money. I have just recovered from some type of bizarre RSI injury within my mouse arm so that I now use my other hand to operate the mouse. I lost quite a bit of money. When I look back at a few of the transactions I took and held on to I break out in a sweat and proceed red.

From the spare room there's a falling over stack of notebooks, squared paper, together with all kinds of egies back tested.

I simply look a bit luckier nowadays. Not only that, but I'm ambidextrous!

I'm finding some degree of success by not appearing my balance till the close of the month or week.

Hence I concentrate more on the commerce and not as much about the money.

Since I don't have any idea how much money is left, I eliminate the fear and greed aspect which was haunting my mind while I was trading formerly.

It helps me concentrate solely on the trade which should be the case.

Not many, but a lot of hours. For me the equivelant of about 40 hours each week over 3 years. From what info I have found that's about typical. So not a life. Someone younger, brighter, more gifted or using a great teacher may select up at a portion of that time. Who knows?

I guess it is dependent upon your style. I feel like if you trade on fundamentals you never stop following and analyzing news. That's a 24 hour a day job. I'm new to currency but that's how I have approached every other type of investment.
