    Hello,

1k , Begin trading Using 1k as if you were trading with 10 million, Then keep stric money mangement rules, and keep the trading simple

Some require around $10 for classic acc. For ecn from $500 to $1K will be optimal for newbies...
For experts it'll be approximately $25k when we discuss ib , but I think it's clear why

I see, you mentioned here minimal deposit positions of two brokers! But, it's not a pick that is good! Even, you've got so many brokers who accept only 1 $, but it doesn't mean, you can start your trading with only1$! Traders will need to start their trading capital in order to their own capacity; there is no rule, but healthful trading capital is always helpful!

My 1st live trading equilibrium was 1K. I basically tried to check my emotions and greed into the live trading market! Yes, before starting my live trading I practiced demo account for 1 year! I left my trading plan and egy on my demo account.

When you first begin live trading I highly advise you to start with a little amount.
    I began with 5.000$, some select 100$, Some 1.000$.
In the conclusion the sum you start with if up to everything you're comfortable with but it should not be what you have.

When traders first go live they generally or at least 95% (Maybe even more) of traders end up losing money.
Why do they lose money? Well there is a lot of variables that play a role in that but the most frequent ones are greed (trying to force trades by way of instance) or plogy. (Not adhering to a trading plan)

In the conclusion I urge to use an amount that's important enough for you so you get the emotions in FX trading and that way you can learn how to deal with those emotions.
I also urge to increase the amount you're trading over time if you're performing well.
Doing well doesn't mean only being profitable, it means sticking into a trading program AND being profitable over a substantial period of time.

Now in case your question is How much capital do I want to make a living? That is an entirely different answer and it is all dependent on you as a trader.
You want to determine how much you earn on average each month in a percentage and how much you need to call home and grow your account at the same moment.

So lets say you make 3 percent a month and you want 1.500$ to live monthly.
You'd require a funding size of at least 50.000$ to get 1.500$ and that only covers your living costs.
These profits will not be as consistent as you may think. You might have a month in which you earn 5 percent and then one in which you earn 1% so you also need to manage your money properly that way.

I hope that answers your question a bit....

As I just finished typing that I realized that someone brought this thread back from the dead (sigh) but I will post it anyway in the hope that it may help someone.

According to me, new traders may begin their live trading with a little bit of money (clearly less than 1K), because virtually all new traders begin their live trading with a huge loss. Consequently, they should avoid a healthy trading balance.

I agree with your view. Yeah for first time trader they should trade with little quantity of money because they are going to lose it. No worries, everybody even myself blow up my account the time we exchange. Only after 1 or two years in trading with a little bit of skill and knowledge too wisdom in trading, yeah maybe you can begin with $100 bucks and above.

When you talking about capital and account dimensions, why you do not mention a leverage?
Is not it significant part of trading egy and cash management?
