Re: Forex brokers with futures?Opinions, recommendations and alternatives
What Forex brokers offer futures?I know that most offer gold and silver and, of course, some indexes, but I wondered about other futures.
-
Re: Forex brokers with futures?Opinions, recommendations and alternatives
Really, you still don't know how to distinguish between futures and CFDs?It is basic, uncle. You are complicating your life asking things you could look for in Google in 2 seconds.

Re: Forex brokers with futures?Opinions, recommendations and alternatives
IB is a solid option for futures, but I also recommend that you take a look at AMP Futures. They have very good commissions and support for platforms such as Sierra Chart and TrainingView, which give you more flexibility.
-
Re: Forex brokers with futures?Opinions, recommendations and alternatives
I would have said the same.IB offers a wide range of products, including futures, and is very competitive. If you are looking for other brokers, you can go to the Multicharts website and search the compatible brokers section. There you will find a list of futures brokers that you could check.
-
Re: Forex brokers with futures?Opinions, recommendations and alternatives
Wow, how original I all recommend IB!It seems that no one has heard of other brokers other than IB or Ninjatrader.Let's see if we leave the bubble a little, right?

Re: Forex brokers with futures?Opinions, recommendations and alternatives
You're welcome, but if you want to explore beyond the typical names, I suggest interactive brokers, ninjatrader or tradovate. The latter has quite good tools if you want to explore futures without so many complications.

Re: Forex brokers with futures?Opinions, recommendations and alternatives
Of course, Ninjatrader, because no one has mentioned it before ... Why don't anyone dare to try less known brokers?Maybe you are surprised.

Re: Forex brokers with futures?Opinions, recommendations and alternatives
In a second question, does any MT4 broker offer futures as well as gold, silver, indices, oil?Such as grains, soft products, etc.Only curious. Thanks again guys.
-
Re: Forex brokers with futures?Opinions, recommendations and alternatives
You will not find futures in MT4, because it is mainly designed for Forex and CFDs.If you are really interested, use a specialized platform as Ninjatrader or Thinkorswim, much more appropriate for what you are looking for.
-
Re: Forex brokers with futures?Opinions, recommendations and alternatives
MT4 brokers do not offer trading in futures, even in gold, silver, oil, etc.Gold, silver, oil, etc., which you are negotiating with a mt4 broker are CFD and non -future products.I do not know any broker that offers CFD products such as corn, soybeans, wheat, sugar, coffee, etc., but some do have actions of shares (S&P, Germany Dax, etc.).
-
Re: Forex brokers with futures?Opinions, recommendations and alternatives
There is the detail that many people forget: they are CFDS, not real real.If you want something serious, jump from Mt4 now.
-
Re: Forex brokers with futures?Opinions, recommendations and alternatives
SRT is right, they are CFDS and not future. Some popular products such as wheat, corn, oil, gas, copper, 10 -year debt. UU. And Germany, among others, are often available with MT4 brokers.I know that Oanda, ThinkForex and FXPrimus have these products available, for example. It should be noted that it allows you to operate with amounts much lower than the real futures.
-
Re: Forex brokers with futures?Opinions, recommendations and alternatives
Exactly.MT4 is practical for small traders, but if you are serious, better migrate to a more robust platform and direct access to futures markets.
-
Re: Forex brokers with futures?Opinions, recommendations and alternatives
Yes, they are CFD products, I understand that. Thanks also for the info, Mevo. You are great.I've been watching Ninjatrader and Wow, it's very difficult to understand!I still put bad orders in the dom.MT4 is much easier.I have Track N Trade, but the Broker Lans is not very good.I have not used TNT in 7 years.
-
Re: Forex brokers with futures?Opinions, recommendations and alternatives
Man, if you can't handle ninjatrader, better or mess with futures. If it costs you with the DOM, wait for you to deal with the commissions and margins.
-
Re: Forex brokers with futures?Opinions, recommendations and alternatives
I agree with what is recommended so far. Here is a bit on the platforms, since they are important considerations when choosing a broker: after using IB, TS and NT, they are all great. If you need access to complex market tools, scanners and indicators without complications, TS is your best option. Its Easylanguage language is excellent if you don't know how to encode, although it is a nuisance if you already know something. You will have to learn your new language, regardless of your level of programming experience. The monthly rate for using its platform is ridiculous, but some swear that it is worth it.If you want to keep the low commissions and have access to any market, IB is an excellent option.Of course, IB graphics software is terrible. It is clumsy, without characteristics, and needs an urgent improvement. If you decide to use IB, I would recommend using another platform for the graphics.IB offers several API options to integrate with other platforms. For example, it is possible to use the NT platform with IB.NT is the MT4 of the world of futures. It is very accessible and quite easy to use for programming. You can find virtually any indicator or EA you are looking for. Most futures brokers admit. You can do almost everything in NT that you can do in TS, with some programming and time. When using NT, you get access to a wide variety of futures brokers. In my opinion, IB is the best broker in general, and nt the best platform.Learning ninjascript is not a great challenge if you already know MQL4 or Java. However, Ninjascript is more sensitive to the syntax than MQL4.If you find NT too complicated, it is probably the best option.I don't know the size of your account, but make sure you are aware of some of your most subtle rates if that could be a problem for you.
-
Re: Forex brokers with futures?Opinions, recommendations and alternatives
Come on, if you use a platform just for the graphic, you are doing it wrong. The important thing is the execution and commissions. What is a pretty graphic if they kill you in commissions?Priorities, friend.
-
Re: Forex brokers with futures?Opinions, recommendations and alternatives
Ninjatrader Brokerage is the best broker and platform.Cheap commissions and everything in one place.
-
Re: Forex brokers with futures?Opinions, recommendations and alternatives
Cheap commissions?Of course, if you compare with the Wall Street sharks ... Let's see if you like it when you have to pay for every extra extra you want to add.
-
Re: Forex brokers with futures?Opinions, recommendations and alternatives
I will keep Ninja.I just need to learn it.I've been using MT4 so much time that NT looks like a strange beast.Ha ha ha.I just need to learn the Dom.I keep putting the orders badly.Of course I continue in demo.Thank you all for your contributions.
-
Re: Forex brokers with futures?Opinions, recommendations and alternatives
Well, prepare, because Ninjatrader's learning curve is brutal. But if you stay there and you will be worth it.Good luck with those orders in Dom!
-
Re: Forex brokers with futures?Opinions, recommendations and alternatives
I use ninja with IB.I agree that IB has bad graphics, but low commissions are difficult to miss, so Ninja solves that problem.I think it is better to eliminate the DOM (unless you like to see the flow of orders) and use the graphics trader. It is very good to see exactly where your orders are in the graph, so you do not have to try to match numbers in the DOM with the graph.I have the feeling that, since Ninjatrader began their own brokerage firm, they will lose some of the futures members they have, so you could have to change broker in the future, including IB.They are taking business to their own partners, so it will not look good for them.
-
Re: Forex brokers with futures?Opinions, recommendations and alternatives
Typical. These brokers shoot in the foot when they begin to compete against their own partners.Sooner or later, you will have to look for another broker if they continue on that path.
-
Re: Forex brokers with futures?Opinions, recommendations and alternatives
I was seeing global or IB, but a good idea not to use the dom. Thanks again, people.
-
Re: Forex brokers with futures?Opinions, recommendations and alternatives
IB is definitely a good option if you can live with its cutter graphics. The truth is that, if it costs you with Ninjatrader, Ib will seem like a walk through the park.
