Re: Scalping Guide
Here's my scalping technique, I don't like to call it strategy or method. I use 1-minute graphics to search for entries, and a 30-minute tick chart to close, because it gives me the exit before the 1-minute one. (Find your own ticks chart, I'm not going to advertise to anyone.

Re: Scalping Guide
Do you operate this rainbow scalping in real or demo? I love that art in graphics, but I never quite understand the entries in the thread of linuxtroll or similar. I hope here they clarify more.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
What tick chart do you use?
-
Re: Scalping Guide
30 ticks... but you could try 40 or even less, like 20... Choose the one that makes you feel more comfortable, this goes for sensations as well.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
Look at image #2. Backwards to the moving stockings without crossing the last barrier, at a level where the price converts support into resistance or vice versa.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
Perfect, I'm going to try it. But I'll do it in futures, and since it's low temporality, I only operate EUR and GBP. Do you use any more filters or indicators?
-
Re: Scalping Guide
All I'm telling you is, if you do scalping, you don't care about the fundamentals, so avoid the news hours. By the way, what simulator do you use?
-
Re: Scalping Guide
An additional simulator for Ninjatrader, and a scalping tool with simulated data. I usually dont operate 30 minutes before or after the news, and in NFP I dont get close. Do you?

Re: Scalping Guide
I use WMA between 10 and 240 in 10.What settings do you use in your rainbow?
-
Re: Scalping Guide
I use linear WMA from 20 to 160, also in steps of 10, without displacement. Simple and visual.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
Okay, I'm going to adjust my parameters so we have the same ones, so I compare results more fairly.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
Good technique. I can't use tick graphics now, but would it be very different to go out using, for example, an average 50 in the M1 with another color?
-
Re: Scalping Guide
I can't tell you, I've already explained how I use this technique, with a template included. If you want to try another way, go ahead and adapt what you need.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
Thank you. I don't want to change anything (I haven't even tried it yet.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
I would use graphic ticks, give you a more accurate output signal than time charts. Today I tried it all day in the simulator and 30 to 50 ticks works very well for my instruments.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
I'm glad you're looking useful. If you're just going to use ticks, get ready to go in and out a lot more times than with M1, but the losses will also be smaller.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
What indicator do you use in MT4 to get tick graphics?
-
Re: Scalping Guide
I use a payment tick indicator on MT4. But I'm sure if you're looking at Google you'll find some good free ones.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
What size stop do you use? I drive between 4 and 12 pips. And as soon as I win something, I pass the SL to break even and let run according to the tick chart.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
Hey, why don't you upload captures from your operations?
-
Re: Scalping Guide
For now I only have simulated data, so they're not worth much, but on Monday I post my first real entries, I hope I don't screw up.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
Thank you for sharing your system.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
Sure, straight and it looks effective.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
I have changed my entry to 15-second graphics to have more accurate signals, and I use M1 to see trend and levels. Today I reached my daily goal of 15 pips with a single operation: $188.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
I tried it on H1 and H4... and they caught me several times... definitely this is for pure scalping, not for high temporalities.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
If you think you can do scalping by looking at just one H1 candle, I wish you luck. Youre going to need more than that. This is precision work and reflexes, not divination with fat candles that dont even show you the noise of the market.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
For those who ask if this works in real: yes, but only if you have discipline. The system does not do magic, it only gives you statistical advantage. If you misuse it, the market takes it away in minutes.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
I don't understand why some insist on changing everything when they haven't even tried the basics. First master the technique as it is, and then play inventors.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
I'm glad to see that some people are already taking 15 or 20 pips a day with this. That's the idea. If you do it right, you don't need to operate 10 hours.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
To those who are obsessed with indicators: there is no indicator that saves you if you don't understand how the price moves. This is based on structure, levels and context. Colors help, but they don't think for you.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
I have seen many burn for not accepting a small loss. Here the secret is to cut quickly what does not work and let run what flows. It sounds simple, but few apply it.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
You don't need to be a genius to apply this, but you do need to stop improvising every time you enter the market.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
The one who said that scalping is an invention of impatient novices: thank you for your pointless opinion. This requires more focus and more cold blood than many swing strategies.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
Using tick graphics is not mandatory, but it gives you a brutal reading of the micro-movement. If you are one of those who expect eternal confirmations, this is not for you.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
Don't expect miracles the first week, but if you practice logically and check every entry critically, in a month you'll be seeing real progress.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
If you're going to use this system and put it on martingale, you better not even start.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
Some have written to me asking if this works in cryptos. The answer is yes, but look at extreme volatility. You have to adjust the parameters.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
One recommendation: do not operate tired. This requires maximum attention. If you are not 100%, better or look at the chart. A bad entry ruins all day.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
I see that many are having problems with fake pullbacks. Look carefully if the recoil reaches a clear zone of support/resistance and if there is rejection. Not every recoil is opportunity.
-
Re: Scalping Guide
Today I had three operations: two with profit, one with break even. Results? $155 in less than an hour. And the best, without stress. That's the goal.
