Re: Has anyone else had trouble with FXTurbo's night spreads?
I've been operating with FXTurbo for two weeks and everything seemed to be going well until I noticed that spreads between 23:00 and 01:00 become absurd. In pairs like EUR/GBP they reach up to 14 pips, which is ridiculous. Is this happening to someone else or am I alone?

Re: Has anyone else had trouble with FXTurbo's night spreads?
That's what happens to you by relying on brokers who call themselves "turbo." Already with that name they should give you a bad spine. Change the platform before they rip off your balance.

Re: Has anyone else had trouble with FXTurbo's night spreads?
I also operate with them and yes, the night spreads are high, but according to their support, it's because of low liquidity. I don't know to what extent that is true, but at least they respond quickly.

Re: Has anyone else had trouble with FXTurbo's night spreads?
Brother, that's not low liquidity, it's a legalized robbery, you're frozen by the SL and you're blown up by artificial spread.
-
Re: Has anyone else had trouble with FXTurbo's night spreads?
I had the same experience. My advice: Find a real ECN broker and forget those who tell you they don't have a money table but then manipulate everything from behind.
-
Re: Has anyone else had trouble with FXTurbo's night spreads?
It's frustrating because outside that schedule, it's all going like silk, good executions, no retractions, but in the morning it looks like they're going into casino mode.
-
Re: Has anyone else had trouble with FXTurbo's night spreads?
You can try to operate only in London and NY sessions. So you avoid the problem. But of course, that doesnt solve the underlying issue: the broker is not transparent.
-
Re: Has anyone else had trouble with FXTurbo's night spreads?
It happened to me with another broker and it was because they had a junk liquidity provider. I traded them for ICMarkets and the difference went from heaven to earth.
-
Re: Has anyone else had trouble with FXTurbo's night spreads?
It's not about defending anyone, but all brokers increase spreads when liquidity drops. Some warn, others go crazy. Read the terms of the contract well.
-
Re: Has anyone else had trouble with FXTurbo's night spreads?
I understand about liquidity, but there's no justification for a spread of 14 pips on a larger pair. I'm not talking about an exotic like USD/TRY. I think it's abuse.

Re: Has anyone else had trouble with FXTurbo's night spreads?
It's just that a lot of brokers put unreal conditions on demo and then when you go on to real... zas.
-
Re: Has anyone else had trouble with FXTurbo's night spreads?
If you're using scalping, FXTurbo is not for you. Find one that has raw spreads and fixed commissions. There are several decent ones if you know where to look.

Re: Has anyone else had trouble with FXTurbo's night spreads?
Has anyone tried Pepperstone or ThinkMarkets to compare? I am interested to know if they also inflate spreads at that time or if it is something specific to FXTurbo.

Re: Has anyone else had trouble with FXTurbo's night spreads?
That's what the forums are for, mate. Thanks for warning us. I was about to open account with them and this type of info is worth gold.
-
Re: Has anyone else had trouble with FXTurbo's night spreads?
Thanks for all the answers. I already sent out a request to withdraw funds and I am looking at other options. Capital defends itself, and with FXTurbo it seems that you need to be more alert than operating itself.

Re: Has anyone else had trouble with FXTurbo's night spreads?
After analyzing for weeks multiple brokers and personally experimenting with FXTurbo, ICMarkets and Pepperstone, I want to share an extensive reflection that may serve others who are going through the same search. One of the most critical factors that I have learned to evaluate is not only the spread or the commission, but the stability in the execution and transparency with which the broker communicates the changes of market conditions. A low spread is of no use if in key moments you can not close an operation or if you put in absurd slips without any explanation. In my experience, FXTurbo proves to have attractive conditions in appearance: welcome bonuses, competitive spreads in liquid schedules and a friendly interface. However, when comparing the real results, I detected a pattern: during macroeconomic events or in times of lower volume, their spreads and execution become unpredictable. And this was not only anecdotic; I analyzed 72 operations in three weeks and in 38 of them there were variations that were not justified between the executed price and the market option, even in limited orders. With ICMarkets, and execution are not unpredictable.

Re: Has anyone else had trouble with FXTurbo's night spreads?
Thank you for taking the time to write all this. It really helped me clear up a lot of doubts I had.
-
Re: Has anyone else had trouble with FXTurbo's night spreads?
But how much does the type of account you use influence? Does Standard vs Raw Spread change the story a lot?
-
Re: Has anyone else had trouble with FXTurbo's night spreads?
Great contribution, very well explained. I'm starting to investigate ICMarkets right now.
-
Re: Has anyone else had trouble with FXTurbo's night spreads?
And what about the slippage in news? ICMarkets also has problems there.
-
Re: Has anyone else had trouble with FXTurbo's night spreads?
Excellent summary, it is noted that you speak from real experience, not book theory.
-
Re: Has anyone else had trouble with FXTurbo's night spreads?
Why didn't you mention brokers like Darwinex or LMAX?

-
Re: Has anyone else had trouble with FXTurbo's night spreads?
And won't those problems with FXTurbo have to do with local regulation?
-
Re: Has anyone else had trouble with FXTurbo's night spreads?
I'm not sure ICMarkets is as transparent as you say.

-
Re: Has anyone else had trouble with FXTurbo's night spreads?
Could you detail more about those 38 landslides you had?
-
Re: Has anyone else had trouble with FXTurbo's night spreads?
Why didn't you talk about 24/7 customer service? That's key to me and neither ICMarkets nor Pepperstone have it.
-
Re: Has anyone else had trouble with FXTurbo's night spreads?
Thank you very much for this post, you can see the work behind it.

Re: Has anyone else had trouble with FXTurbo's night spreads?
Strange about the spreads with FXTurbo, they seem stable to me. Will it be server business?
-

Have you tried Fusion Markets or Eightcap? Im interested to know if they compete with the ones you mentioned.
-

You say Pepperstone's good for EAs, but how many automated strategies did you try?
