System based on rupture of Asian range + volume

Hello everyone, I've been trying out a system of my own that combines the rupture of the Asian rank with confirmation by volume. The results have been fairly consistent in the last three months, so I want to share it around here to bring something useful to the forum. The strategy is based on marking the range of the Asian session (00:00 - 06:00 GMT)

Interesting, can you explain how you define "volume confirmation"? Because if you use just tick volume, that's pretty misleading...

It sounds good, but the concept is not new. Many have already tried to exploit the Asian break-up and ended up fried by the fake break-ups. What do you do to filter those moves?

Thanks for sharing, I operate something similar but with EMA and RSI as confirmation. If your system has good filters, it could be very useful.

The volume indicator I use is not the typical volume of MT4. I work with real volume data through an external plugin that connects with future data. I use it to detect volume peaks that accompany the rupture. If the price breaks without volume, I do not enter.

I already knew that something weird was... real volume with future data, so this isn't for everyone, is it?

I can confirm that using the Asian rank as a base is very effective if it leaks well. It has worked mostly in pairs like GBPJPY or XAUUSD. However, you have to have a lot of discipline.

No need to always use real volume. I have also tested with adapted volume indicators, such as the Better Volume, which although not perfect, gives acceptable signals to filter inputs.

I tried that strategy, but I abandoned it. The false breakups made me crazy. I�m interested to know if you re-enter or just wait the next day.

Good question. I do not re-enter the same day if the first sign was false. I prefer to stay out and preserve capital. In this system, patience pays.
