I look forward to seeing your progress! You're doing great so far! Journals are one of the greatest ways. Be sure to post your losers, also, since let's face it, nobody's perfect, and this gives you something to look forth.
Best of luck,
Kevin
Here is a pattern I've noticed a few times. When it does so (spine spinning but price has not taken off yet) the consequent move is usually somewhat significant...

Due man. I will make sure to post the losers as well. Im actually more interested in posting those because it helps me understand. . .you is able to look at charts with winning trades all day and never get anywhere. . .lol.Quote:

For the record, Im double posting some of those charts(I already posted them around the Linuxtroll thread), but I am trying to gather them in one place so they're easier to find later on.
This is a breakout pattern I'm discovering that seems to be dependable so far. However, it is hard to notice as its occurring. In the first chart, it reveals the chart looked like before the huge fall happened.
The next is about the same pattern on the chart of the Bernanke speech I just submitted. Nevertheless, Im not sure I would have traded this breakout since, with addresses, price could whipsaw really bad.
Anyway, charts...

Here's a chart posted by Italianfx in the Linuxtroll thread with about the exact same pattern as the last two charts I submitted. (although, this one doesn't appear to be as choppy before the breakout, but you get the idea)...
https://www.forexforum.co.za/attachm...1639792194.jpg
So, out of the previous 3 charts, it appears that the common characteristics are that it tests a support level twice and the third time, it breaks support. . .hard https://www.forexforum.co.za/attachments/1528671164.jpg
Anyhow, that's all of the charts I have until sunday night/monday. At that point I will begin posting my actual trades as well as more patterns I am discovering.
Nice to see your diary, I'll keep watching what you doing. So far it seems I know what you attempting to do. It appears like you looking for workouts.
Err..sorry. Yet another chart. Im not sure if that is high probability or not, but it worked this time. . .lol. I will look for this particular installment more next week and see if it holds or not.

Thanks guy. Im not looking for just breakouts, Im just trying to search for high likelihood setups and so far, its largely breakouts. . .lol.Quote:

Thank You for this. Nice work.
It'd be fantastic if you collect all of those nice pictures to a pdf file that would be upgraded from time to time. Very much pleasent for printing compiling and reading at night before sleep.
It´s my sugestion,
Thank you for this
Nhallmark,
NICE JOB, this can be great and appreciate your charts. Continue the good work and we will all learn and earn money together. So far and you've shown it with your charts, I'm only searching for a very clear spine (nothing choppy). I also have come to notice the TREND is what's crucial. Looking at the 1 moment it's possible to discover the overall trend then go to the 5 sec to find out whether the trend matchs, if they fit this is a good time to go into. Just my thoughts. Your charts are showing a good illuion of this. Anyway looking forward to a lot of your postings. https://www.forexforum.co.za/attachments/1528671166.png
I could do that, once I have enough charts here and they're all organized. Thanks for the suggestion.Quote:

This is because I said. It was not what was said it had been my connotation of the way it was disgusting.
Therefore, if you figure out what it is that you are wanting(the mantra, etc.. ) paraphrase the whole thing(in your own words) and record it on your voice and listen to it every day.
I will send you some brain wave entrainment to spend the background, if you would like LOL. (this is a link to describe it...http://www.real-hypnosis.com/brainentrainment.html)

So, once I switched the radio button form market to buy, it switched my order size also.
So, I clicked buy without even realizing what had occurred. Then, I shut the trade -8 and I still didn't realize it. I was just trying to work out when they had been slipping me(which, of course they had been LOL)
It was not until 5 minutes after I shut the trade which I realized what had occurred.
My point is that during that trade, there was no emotion attached to it at all since I thought I had been trading one unit.
I've been able to retain that today and trade my normal lot size without even feeling a loss the last few days.
So, perhaps try doing that. Also, have you read Trading In The Zone? It speaks a lot about this.
Join us to the mind work! It will help us!Quote:

Hi Nhallmark
which is the program you use for these charts on apple?
thanks
Alex
Sorry its taken so long to reply. I have not checked this thread in forever. It is just Oanda's platform in Firefox for Mac.Quote:

I am sitting here trying to rely on my trades and I keep having to start over since it is all stacked together. It would be a lot easier when I could export a .csv or something so I could work with it in a spreadsheet.
Anyone know if this is possible?
After studying all. . I'm still perplexed. Have anyone made $$ always? Any announcements understand? In hindsight all coloured rainbows appear fantastic - just wondering. .
How does a statement help you understand?Quote:

I don't know why everyone makes such a big deal about it. . .if which you put in the time and effort, it's not difficult to make money consistently. Yes, there's quite a process to undergo as a new trader, but it pays off if you keep going. If you haven't read it, then get Trading In The Zone by Mark Douglas. If your scalping(or optional trading), then use the book to make it through your plogical blocks, but don't get caught up about the other things, unless you are trading.

If you like Trading in the Zone from M.Douglas, there is a'Trading exemptions' CD, based on the book, which you may play to yourself to get into the ideal mindset or'the zone'. I've discovered this to be useful in my trading.Quote:

Too, do you place a manual stop loss in? Or just just mental?what are your losses like? I attempt to get out with the maximum of -7pips on a terrible trade.
I attempt to accumalate pips but just grabbing 1 pip per trade and trade all round the clock. Wait for setups of course but just ching 1-2 pips. . .and with oanda along with the eur/usd.9 disperse its a fact now. Eur/usd does not proceed as fast as eur/jpy but I feel mytrading is better trading eur/usd. Since trading rainbow, profits been great. . .almost 20 percent /week real account.
Used to exchange gbp/jpy lol. . .almost dropped my shirt this time a year ago.
thanks
JL
Firstly congrats on your 95% success rate, I think we'd all love to get anywhere near that....can I only ask some questions...
Are you 95 percent successfull as you simply go for 1 or 2 pips or simply your preferred manner?
As so many on here and LTs thread are still wondering how exactly the best method to utilize the rainbow..would you mind explaining a little the best way to use it and what you use as an entrance arrangement?
thanks
Thanks Nathan, I mean bra! LOLQuote:

LOL, I've done this. . .it will let you read it on line in .csv(which is pointless) but you can't download it.Quote:

I forgot oanda does not have tools for traders that actually earn money LOL.
