I dont understand why they keep questioning the logic of the system if it was clearly explained that it depends on the timing of the RSI crossing with respect to the event. If you cant follow a clock and measure 2 hours, its not that the system fails, its that youre operating without discipline. This is not magic, its observation, patience and execution. Of course, no one is obliged to follow it. But if you try it three times and already decide that it doesnt work, the problem is probably not the method. Give it time, adjust your interpretation, and above all, dont go into huge lots crazy. Forex isnt a casino... although some people love to play it as such.
Thanks to those who continue to contribute with ideas and corrections. This is a collaborative process and if we continue with this level of analysis, we can refine the rules of the system much better. I have already started to document results in different conditions and I can say that there is consistency if the parameters are respected. The fundamental remains the synchronization with high impact events. It is not useful to apply it in any minor news or in pairs without liquidity. I am also developing a visual template to automatically mark the observation periods. As soon as it is ready, I will share it with everyone.
Okay, to those who are trying to use this system to operate on minor events like the Swiss CPI or any Canadian random data, I'm telling you right now: they're wrong. The method was designed and tested for top-notch news, where the impact on the market is real and strong. Don't expect miracles in mediocre conditions. This is like wanting to measure the power of an F1 engine in a dirt alley. It's not going to work. Choose your head battles and don't blame the system if you're misapplying it from the start.
To those who ask to sum up the system in two sentences not to read everything: no. This is not a method for lazy or impatient people. If you cant spend half an hour reading the rules and understanding how to apply an RSI on an M1 chart, maybe you should rethink yourself if trading is your thing. Im not being borderline, just realistic. Most people lose money on forex because they want shortcuts and dont respect the process. This system is simple in structure, but it needs precision. Its not pushing a button because someone said it on a forum.
I have noticed that many are confusing the last crossing of the RSI with the most recent one. Please check the chart well: use the last crossing before the 2 hours of observation starts, not the last one you see just before the news. That completely changes the entry. The correct interpretation of time is critical. I am already working on a step-by-step visual guide with real examples so that there are no more doubts. This is not about improvising, it is about reading the signals well and understanding the context.
Today I operated the IPC data in the U.S. and the system worked perfectly. The RSI crossed 70 an hour and a half before the event and remained that way until the publication. I went in long and closed with +19 pips in less than 10 minutes. It fulfilled as designed. I dont say it will always be so, but when the market is aligned with the economic calendar, the results are consistent. I insist: this is not a magic formula, its one more tool. If you combine it with head and risk management, it can be very powerful.
Those who are asking for an EA to automate this: it doesnt make sense. The method is based on a context reading that goes beyond just fixed rules. You have to interpret, observe how the RSI moves and the volatility around the minutes before the news. An EA wont substitute for human judgment in this case, at least not without a fairly advanced AI system behind it. Better understand the logic and run it manually until you have enough criteria to automate specific parts.
I have seen a couple of entries where some got ahead 15 minutes before the event without the RSI being in position. Result: stop loss activated in seconds. This system is not for impatient or for those who think themselves smarter than the market. The method is not infallible, but it is structured. Breaking their own rules only leads to chaos. Learn to respect the conditions, wait for them to be fulfilled and do not get ahead. Emotional trading is the worst enemy of any strategy, however good it may be.
