Thread: Forex trading on the ipad??

Be able to run MT4 to execute transactions? Or will it use a similar appliion or be like the iphone where you've got to remote desktop to it?

Im not looking to daytrade with it, I exchange the dailies but im just not near a computer that I can access MT4 in the NY near and would like to be able to specify a trade while out of my PC.

I concur... IPAD is not so favorable for traders... attempted it and definitely did not like it's limited trading performance.

Guys are you comparing the iPad resolution with Desktop or iPhone / Android. . .with 2 or 3 monitors?

I've my alpari UK account running on a VPS. While traveling I use Alpari's mt4 to get ipad if I need to exchange or modify trades. I don't actually have a need.

I have assessed the retina version of the ipad:

- The UI will not rotate, should I rotate the iPad
- the chart will not zoom if I do gestures. What you could see on ipad1 which will be at ipad2 too.
- abandoned and botom space can't be hidden.
- there is a massive resolution and resources from hardware, however, this soft does use 10% of screen resolution for chart.

Congratz for Oanda product director: another neglect software from a thousand dollar business! -as it's the usually the Oanda's IT merchandise.

Dukacopy Eu is not a lot better:

- no rotation!
- no full screen at chart either the the old chart, possibly the new one.
- chart has zoom

It's for play, for kids, is not for trading!!! Clearly it's made only to maintain they portfolio a different platform, is not for trading, but this resolution is higher tan many monitors and it could be a lot better app!

Not actually altering the design since it's a retina or not

They have just altered the Metatrader on the ipad it's just like your own p.c. now.
