Thread: Scalping is the doorway to real trading

It took me awhile to learn that but I am thinking it increasingly each new trading day. Now dont get me wrong scalping does work and that I swear by it, but after longer trends appears to be netting me more money from the market. Put it this way when I dont understand what the markets going to do scalp for 2, 3, 4, pips a pop, but when I have a deffinatly good great feeling about a long-term position I can take the market for 100 pips at a time (happened twice now).... So there we go my new view Forex...

    Scalp when in doubt
    Hang tight when the best...

bit more to it than this but thats a good jist...

I advise that only the eur/usd is scalped by you because the cost of trading it's reduced. And it Isn't a volatile pair

    Only muppets scalp!!
U has to be an overpatient trader, leaving those trades run for long, I mean months. Well I exchange term tendencies targetting 100-300pips. But I scalp when I see the market is ranging.

I don't understand how brokers shed out when folks scalp in Foreign Exchange. They make the distinction on bid and ask, right? As long as there's a spread money is made by them. Is not there a spread no matter how quickly people can trade?
