I wonder if any clever soul has developed or can develop and indior that can Ascertain if an ema is sloping up or down from its previous bar or bars

Ie when the ema is Greater this Pub than last a green block is placed in an indior panel in the bottom of the workspace

It Remains making Greater closes for 3 bars so we get 3 green Cubes after Which we get a Lesser close so we Receive a red block

Like a Two colour MA but instead of the ma changing colour the change is given in the form of Cubes in a separate indy panel

As Ordinary as Improvements of systems etc will be posted in FF

    Cheers

    Hi,
give this a go. . Hope will fulfill with your needs. .

    Extern parameters:

    extern int MAPeriod=12;
    extern int MAType=1; // 1 = EMA , 2 = SMMA , 3 = LWMA , 4 = LSMA , additional = SMA
    extern int MAAppliedPrice = 0;//0=closing, 1=start, 2=high, 3=low, 4=median(high low)/2, 5=average(high low close)/3, 6=low(high low close near)/4

Thats fantastic indiana .... Thanks now pushing my luck here I know

But could you do the same thing but with two ma's ?

IE if 13 ema under 21 ema it'll be reddish it 13ema is over 21 ema it'll be gloomy and present it in bar form such as the indior you have done

    ?

    Cheers

Yep. . Here it is. .
You can change colours, MAs type and implemented price ,
set awake (on/off) , display arrow (on/off) and send email ( if correctly configured) . .

Original indior made by master mladen..thanks to him. I only made some minor modifiions to accommodate it

Is not that exactly what there is a MACD. The point is where your 13 and 21 would cross and the amplitude is nothing more then the total amount of convergence or divergence between two MA..hence MA. C D.

How about doing away with the separate Indi and using the backdrop on the home chart change colour?
Any suggestions on how this can be done?

    Hello Indiana:

Please would you help me put an alert and telling on the MA in colour with applied price? I am referring to the only MA that changes colour, not the MA crossover.

I possess the indi, however, it doesn't have alarms when the MA changes colour. I will love to have both alarms and an arrow to show the changes. I will really appreciate your help. Thanks.
