I started a Female Traders thread in the Trading Discussion section. It flourished and was a fantastic source of support and information for women traders, in addition to a number of our men buddies. We needed to run the gauntlet of the typical sexist bs that surfaces but it went on to become a very common thread....
.... Untilforexforum.co.zamanagement decided they need to move it into the Interactive Section with zero appointment, and thereby expose the female traders here to additional unwanted attention (all we wanted to do was trade, share charts, and be encouraged by other women traders).
It mattered a fantastic deal to me to be able to have a whole forum for coordinating other female traders, but theforexforum.co.zaboys club decided women did not have a need to be encouraged by other women at a place they felt safe to do so.
Our lovely thread still resides at theforexforum.co.zaprison (Members Lounge) where it was sin binned from the public eye. A couple of the original members still post there.
Good luck ladies with this new women traders thread.

Does it really matter if you are female or male as a trader, I guess some might say females think differently than males, nevertheless surely its the capability of ones mind which leads to a triumph in being a Foreign Exchange trader, for instance I am bi swing both ways, maybe that gives me the benefit of the doubt when trading, either way I think u ought to be judged with your own victory in the markets and not gender. . My 2 pennies worth at the least. . Admirable topic though..if judged is the correct term to utilized, however living in this measurement we surely have to play with the rules, buy low sell high ... um er . . Or was that market high buy low. . See now I am confused, but then thats me always have been. . The one thing that matters in forex is results. Personally, I do not care who or what is producing positive pips. If females are generating pips then I am a student-same since I would be into a male manufacturer. So good luck women. I am a male manufacturer.

This is why once women and men obtain their blinders off (respectively), the 2 halves make you better whole. If folks could only realize the value of ADDING those different viewpoints instead of trying to justify keeping them separate, Oh what a world it might be IMHO.
