Thread: coders - help making simple horizontal line indior

    Hi all coders/programmers,

I need help building a very simple indior.

Anyone's time in this could be truly appreciated.

I'm searching for an indior that can help me draw horizontal lines ever xxx pips, eg. Start stage being 1.4750, then outlines being drawn every 15 pips from the beginning stage i.e. 1.4765, 1.4780, 1.4795, etc etc . . (JUST SAVES ME MANUALLY DRAWING 10-15 LINES MANUALLY all of the TIME)

Now what I am searching for is your indior to give me a few options for flexibility - Therefore I can pick my own inputs:

    Value #1 (eg. 1.4750)
Pip Distance (eg. Every 15 pips)
No. of Lines (eg. How many traces of 15 pip intervals that you want to draw?)
Line Colour (eg. Red, Blue, etc..)
Line Thickness (no explanation needed here)

    Value #2 (eg. 1.4730)
Pip Distance (eg. Every -15 pips)
No. of Lines (eg. How many traces of 15 pip intervals that you want to draw?)
    Line Colour
    Line Thickness

precisely the exact same inidior has a choice of 2 values ... 1 worth to have line drawn each 15 pips going up the chart, and the other worth having line drawn every 15 pips going down the chart (hence -15), or it could also be distinct pip space like -10 (again alternative of having whatever). .

Choice of getting Colours would be great to differentiate both values, and line thickness, well is not so significant.

Also another very important thing in this code should be that this SAME indior can be loaded on the SAME chart twice or thrice to have various other values on 1 chart and have their respected 15 pips (or anything) drawn on the chart (with different colours) - to assist to see confluence.

And should I remove 1 indior from that chart, then these lines get removed and dont stay on the chart to manually delete them...

I expect this was a simple explanation.
Can anybody assist?? Looks like a logic that is simple that is relative to create, but then again im no programmer - please assist?

    Thank you for your time.

    Kind Regards.
