    Hi Traders

How many of you've seen traders making 10 or 20 pips or even 100 pips regular for a while and losing in 1 day. Do u know why ?

Or what's the ideal approach to protect the profit made?

    1) Can it be wise to not compound?
    2) Can it be wise not to boost the lots?

    Your take on this plz

That means you'll need to rework the system in order to minimize that loss, enhance precision, etc.. You definitely don't want to last as is in case that 1 loss wiped away all of the current profit.

That's a really silly statement. Even when you're going to lose, you will shed a lot slower and obtain more knowledge from the process.

Compound matters greatly because of the money involved as well as the plogy attached to that money.

If you are in a new poker tournament and you go from 10 dollars to 10,000 dollars, you might not think that it's even possible to perform the same way?

Exactly the same issue is true for traders, the amounts (and not just the % of their account is of utmost importance).

    I agree.

I am aiming 5% per month. 1% daily is almost impossible with my trading egy and plans. I am not day trader and haven't plans to be soon. My plan is to gain 5% per month. The issue is whether my egy was working for eight months I became overconfident and greedy. And failed.

A frequent mistake of newbies. I dropped a lot within days once I started trading in late 2010. I'd make some fantastic profit but needing more (call it greed or inexperience) I'd over trade and lose all my profit plus more. I needed to change my trading design and create my skill over time to turn things around.

Creating a little gain every day is the way,

Consider that gain for a percentage of your bank (not financial ).

The sole difficulty afterward is, as soon as you have a couple wins you suddenly understand everything about Currency Market. When infact you do not. Thus the Losses.

You want to be friends with the market makers (not literally) and as soon as you realise how they operate you'll be fine.

Cluelessness and arrogance is a hazardous combination. Best of luck.

I had been thinking the exact same thing about you personally.

Money/Trade management is all, if you don't get that then you don't understand what the hell you are talking about.

Your mindset likely comes from excessive losses because of that lack of understanding.
