I think the OP meant raising position dimensions as one's account dimensions grow over time.

That's quite obvious. The trader let his losing trading rankings encounter enormous losses.

An trader's risk/reward (and trading itself) will probably be dreadful if he concentrates on protecting profits in each and every transaction, commonly by taking premature small profits.

Compounding is one of the most crucial elements in trading. If you are profiting consistently, that cares in the event that you compound or maybe not?

The dilemma is that is not the case for most traders.

I think you didnt understand what I meant. May be I didn't explain well. I've been doing this for because I got burnt couple times. It is good for me. For someone not everyday profit, can be everyweek every fortnight every day is dependent upon the trader. What I mean is take some from your account to secure that for the month end, Merely capital protection.

Reason so simple: greed, and over trading on high leverage without trading program, control and target. That is simply pure gaming.

This has happened to me lol, I had been becoming over positive and threw risk mabamanage out of the window... It is all down to every individual but the best way is to adhere to a egy and escape from any transactions that are making you a loss as opposed to hold and expect they bounce back once you find the profits your content with take profits. . Don't start to incorporate more lots to a trade you have open believing it's going to stick with the trend because it can reverse at any moment

The problem is loading up on lot size each time. In case you have a couple of wins you grow your account and you begin to believe that is renewable but it is not. You're basically playing double or nothing. Try staying with the exact same lot size for your week and adjusting upward or down weekly. This should smooth out the crazy swings. Personally I do if I exchange 1/2 of my account and then add to winners.

The other difficulty of losing it all in a day is fruion and overtrading. We all learned very young that you have to strive harder to be successful but that does not function in trading. Here we have to back off if things are not going well.

That is absolutely not sustainable in the long run.
I am afraid you'll find this out at some stage.

Basically I am even after one year of trading but for what was all that travel? Now pissed away, my egy used to work for so long and suddenly because of my greediness I consented acute loss which vaporized all of gains. Frankly...
    Hello panaka

I have been there myself 3 or 4 occasions. What I did to overcome that is. ? I trade full time . I make 3 times longer what a day job would be a salary each month. So my goal is to earn that money everyday or weekly that is all. As an example.

When you have 10k $ attempt to get 1 percent away that everyday once you earn 1 percent. Withdraw it or transfer it to your vault. Tomorrow do exactly the identical thing. Day after do exactly the exact same thing. Keep withdrawing some save a while and if you wish to increase your lot size ( This im not saying raise your risk) Deposit trade 0.5% or 1% everyday or two days according to your plan.

What I mean is we get to enjoy the money we created everyday since we draw it .Instead of expecting to be a billionaire. 200-300 dollars is all is require to generate a decent life. (for me personally only.yours may be different amount).Never aim for over this. If you want more raise your deposit and aim as per your risk
