I m trading GBPUSD, I buy at 1.42295 and market at 1.42586, therefore I m up 0.00291 which is equal to 29 pips directly?

    Today for silver

I buy at 16.548 and market at 16.633
    I m up 0.085, is that 8.5 pip?

    Now XRPBTC

I buy at 0.000081976 and market at 0.000083013

    I m up 0.000001037 is that 1037 pips?

    Now for btcusd

I buy at 8000 and market at 8100, what am I up?

Is there a calculator that can compute pips for you?

hey nathan.... That would depend on the life fashion your chasing and job your replacing.... Here from the states, 100 pips must do if the trade size was 1 standard lot.... Or 50 pips with 2 regular lots....

That will be for someone whose only source of income will be Currency Market.... h

Pips is really used just in Foreign Exchange (foreign exchange)
is your 4th unit after decimal in most currency pairs, except couple of ones such as yen in which it's only 2nd unit after decimal

in which you've got a 5th unit that is called a pipette and can be obv. A tenth of a pip

as you watched if you attempt to force the word in his unnatural ground like commodities, or cryptos, you'll become confused, as making pips of that is just not working

yes you'll find calculators to work your profit in any market, but everything you gain there's not voiced in pips. .

This would rely on the broker. FBS and bitcoin includes a pip being an alteration of 10usd in the price of BTCUSD which of couse gives them, the broker, the spread of more than 3 decimal places. Not ro cite a huge spread.
In your case... open the lowest low size size you can and see the change reflected for your self.
