    Hello everyone,

I have been lurking on this forum for some time and wanted to drop by and say hello. Thankfully, this place helped me filter out lots of the hypeish BS that is too prevalent on the web.

Now to work on improving my skills at reading/understanding charts and to create a system. Can anybody recommend resources for that?

    Hello,

I was introduced to Forex thru a Buddy. We both attended a conference now he was trading full time with his own approach instead of the one taught by the convention, as for me I wasnt that committed to studying the rope at this point I had kids in their elementary school (from demonion ). Now my kids are in the high school which left me more time on hands to find out the rope. I had an perish demo acct but I simply had Oanda install recently for me started. I will re-read a number of the book eg books written by Faith Curtis Kathy Lien.

I'd decided to put aside 1 hr every day on the platform for backtesting using lineup to find S/R on USD/JPY since I was told it's not as explosive as other pair eg GBP/USD. But should the 1 hr be at precisely the exact same hour every day, cos apart in my full time job I also had to complete household chores and so my 1 hr would differ each day. Is that?

    regards

    Hey Dr J.

Welcome to the Factory. Have you checked out how the system threads that were trading in the beginners forum? There's some cool things there. I happen to like the Vegas systems but thats me...I do think they're best though.

Check out James 16 Chart thread for some great tips and by all means consider investing in your practice in the Private Forumgt; Proceed to Prefferred Services and click on James 16 Group for additional info.

    Great Journey!
