Thread: Indiors for rookies

  1. #1
Ok then. This week I spended a lot of time researching about few indiors that I was interested on. I did this beginning determining a trading egy to the future.

The main idea is to talk about thed indiors we chose and talk about how in which they're working out for us.

In that direction I invite everyone on this great forum to participate.

    Have trade and fun!

Hi there everyone, well I have been working in an indior, but haven't seem to understand it well. I'm discussing the Willi Percentage Range, the only thing I understand is that it enables you to predict if the trend might rise or simply lower, depending if the market is oversold or overbought. Anything else to add? I'd appreciate it a lot.

I am not bagging this thread idea, but only to be helpful...
Do what you have to guys, but you and millions others take this indior path. So chase for years. REALLY years.
(Some , if exchanged properly CAN be profitable, don't get me wrong)

The ideal indior is price. Where has it been? What did it do if it last got there? Is the current move a replica of what happens most of the time at the exact same situation? (I said MOST of the time. It is NEVER all.)

Start studying from article 1 at the James16 Chart Thread (In interactive trading) . There are other price action based threads also.

KittyKat you are heading down the wrong path emotionally once you say I might be incorrect . The best thing someone can do for you is to say stop before you understand a lot of very hard habits to lose.
I Would be wrong implies you have to be appropriate to profit in gambling. It is not about being correct. It is about accepting commerce setups that , over say 10 transactions, you are ahead account-wise because you've got an advantage.

Learn Support Resistance, it will over the years do much more for you than any indior will.

Yes, before you spend a whole lot of time on indiors -spend some time at the James16 thread.

If your intention is to continue indior research - I suggest that you at least make them colorful on the chart - vibrant is good I have seen some gorgeous ones. Do not do me any good though cause I couldn't see the candles
Edit: Some of this chart artwork is nice:

Edit: There are some that use indiors and perform quite well. Please do keep your research to them as only you should make the decision on how you exchange.

This thread has the capacity to make you a trader.

Yes! Indiors are part of forex. Thanks for that link man. I am trying with some of them and I found good and bad ones in my little experience. Just a position of time. It's true they can't forecast the future but what can? Be whole here's the goal.

Are not indiors a kind of price action? As far as I know, studying candlestick and finding indiors in them is all what price action is all about.

Secondly, thank you for this last sentence. I hadn't thought about it that way yet.

    Agreed!
Indiors will help trading but I think you should not rely on them much. Since indiors only follows the price movement and it doesn't predict where the price is moving.

Unfortunately, nothing can predict in which the price is going. If we can, trading in forex wouldn't be so risky.

Forex Trading Indiors have been in use for ages. They don't work all the time, but they have been useful in most of the times and that's what matters. In FX, you can never be 100 percent, but what's necessary is that you get things right more often than you get them wrong.

Indiors rely on past statistical information about the particular asset. They tell what just happened, rather than what will happen and because most traders interpret them the exact same to attempt to predict another direction of their price, at time it ends up being correct because most traders left a similar decision predied on a similar source.
