    Hi,

Can anybody code this indior for Metatrader ?

This really is a moving average using a volatility filter designed to further smooth out the price action. It would be used similar to a moving average.

    Formula:
    Ref(Mov(C,12,E),-1) ((C-(Ref(Mov(C,12,E),-1))) / (C/(Ref(Mov(C,12,E),-1))*125))

    regards

Just how are you supposed to interpret this indior? I got an email from Investopedia forex saying this was the best indior I never heard of is that the way you heard of it?

    Hello MF,

Thank you for your answer and link to your diary, which I am ploughing through. You said you just put 2 MAs on your own chart, one place to place to low, yet I see 4 MA lines on your own post 21. Can you please explain?

Much like your doctrine - I just need to train my mind to think in a similar way. When I started trading I had success - I believe of the clutter obtained at all.

    Cheers,

    Mike

PS Haven't discovered the McGinley Dynamic indior yet. Give me a hint?

You can down load it by pressing this button in my post over
But to be honest, I am not overly impressed by it. Have a look at the mathematics in the formula at the first post and I bet you'll see.

Either this formula isn't complete or somebody is having a laugh.

A day I will give it and post the answer in a way that is visual. LOL

    BTW,
Ref(Mov(C,12,E),-1) means that an exponential moving average of this near for 12 periods referencing the value in the position one pub from the current bar. Hint

    MA [(C-MA) / (C / MA * 125)]
