    hello there fellow trader.
I've just finished a indior that Im inviting you to test.
It's looking great , even though there may be a couple of bugs.
Only focusing on eur usd , dont attempt it on anything else.
blue is eur , red is usd.

Blue crosses above reddish = buy
blue crosses below red = market

    any time period

    thanks so much.
Notice , its fairly heavy on the chip , therefore a reasonable quick pc is necessary.

in my view, nicely done ... based on what is your strength training?

  4. #4
ok its late , this is still kinda beta , but now on almost any currency.

Its based on moving averages across all the pairs.

    Please examine and post

    thanks so much

Looks good, but I don't see CAD recorded in the currencies.

  6. #6
On direct cross it is reacting interesting ... did you consider multipair EA for forward test?

  7. #7
    Thanks for the feedback
yes , the EA is coming , Im hoping for some thoughts from this thread when to open and close
I will place a complimentary EA here
I didn't put in CAD and CHF , but it can be done , since I want to keep it easy , as it's , it is possible to trade 6x5 =30 pairs
too: the meter on the ideal side cannot be sorted ascending / decending because mt4 doesn't seem to handle minus values very well
    - anybody help me out here ArraySort (DataArray,WHOLE_ARRAY ,0,MODE_ASCEND);

    the basic formula is this:
measure the moving average (5,13) of a currency against each of the other currencies.
    If it's up it gets a 1 down -1

    illuion
worth ( 7 to -7) of USD is measured against : eurusd gbpusd usdchf usdjpy audusd usdcad nzdusd

when the value is say 5 , then the USD is more powerful in 6 of those above mentioned currency pairs and weaker in 1. ( 6-1)
    or
-3 = more powerful in two but weaker in five currencies. ( 2-5)

the rate of change or rate of change potency is corrected by the moving average numbers , IE 5,13
so make it 3,5 and it's very sensitive , 14,29 and it's a lot less sensitive to change.
Imho 5,13 is a sweet spot , but Im hoping for some feedback from the community on all of this , and how it relates to the timeframes too. Btw the interval is taken from the chart that the indior is put on.

The other method I have considered is just 1 if the measured currency is more powerful , 0 if it's weaker , which means you would end up with a strength meter of 0-7.

I have considered a number of different procedures , one is to measure the actual price difference of both moving averages , put that into an assortment and spit out the results - hmm or a mix of both or add in the RSI and or CCI, it goes on.

But of today I believe this is something which can work and can be tradeable.

So please post feedback and thoughts
    thanks

The process as you did now (submitted here in forum) is good, you dont need to alter it ...

EA can working on H1 timeframe
TP/SL can be based on ADR (ATR on daily multipliors)
trade based on currency cross (just 1 trade per cross) in cross direction (if EUR xgt; USD = buy, or EUR xlt; USD = market)
and selectable you can add alternative for cross . . It signifies when EUR==USD as opposed to EURgt;USD open buy or oposite for market

Great job, hi buju. Could I ask you please if it possible to include CAD and CHF currencies. So I can compare with along with other indior, since I think that it has to be put (5,13) according to different interval.
    TIA
