Dat, this will be charts, its too complied to express if you don't take the journey first. There's a lot of literature on this, largely free if you know where to look. How one percieves this info is its flow of truth, another narrative. Everything is derived from instant satisfaction, not a quick fix or the pathagorian and bible mathematics.
The largest clue I can give is wheels within wheels, sorry to get your riddle but one truely needs to see anything in your mind.

Hi Mr. O. I enjoy your thread already. I saw you using what I would describe as half ellipses over about the thread. Ever since I saw that on you chart I've been analyzing the ellipse with Gann. I've made some observations that were interesting, but can't work out its significance. It seems to me like you are quite the expert to Gann. Would you expound on the ellipse in regard to Gann? I would appreciate it very much.
I've attached a chart for you to look at with an ellipse I drew following angles which the market made. I see that the market wants to adhere to in or outside edge even candles into the future.
    Thank you for your time.

Nice charts over there! I myself use Gann within my analysis, mostly trying to find prospective reversal points in time.

I exchange dailies so I attempt to nail reversal times, the best vibrations are found in USDJPY followed by GBPUSD, at least from those pairs that I follow and together with the way I use. Themselves should not trade them incorporated into a trading system. By way of example if there is a vibration day and we have a certain price pattern (eg. Pin bar) or a certain s/r level (eg. 50%) then there is a quite high probability of reversal.

On the next level these vibrations are elements of particular time cycles and lots of times an whole swing ends precisely when these cycles expire, very powerful information imo.

For future reference I've the following vibrations:
    - Cable: Feb 29, March 08 and March 23.
    - USDJPY: Feb 28 (or 29)

These are all derived from this geometric/mathematic part of Gann, what I didn't study is the astro part, after giving several tries I completely gave up, I am simply not confotable about astro I guess.

Iremember being intrested at the elipses, hello Scotty, myself am pretty new to the comprehension of the geometry breakdown of arcs, parabola that is saucers and the elipses. I have seen some pretty outstanding geometry work can imagine it's going to be no simple task to learn. I have noticed place only right they cab time items quite accurately (swing reversals) as well as include price actions path rather strictly. I'm learning this procedure as you, be happy to share my findings

Soso, great to have a like minded amongst us, fell free to share your developments. Astro is stuff that is demanding, finding its flow to a certain pair, stock commod is time consuming. Its like anything and has its vibration.

Being up front I am not a master at this I'm still in grade school in the large scheme of things 5 grade. W.D was the professor. Post what we all know and comprehend and we can develop our precisions of the markets, that is my goal. Ego belongs not within this study IMO

Hi OW - great to find that you've begun a thread - I hope that it will help me to move farther along the Gann path.

FYI, the best use I have seen of the ellipse is with a trader called Goldfish in the Wave 59 forum. He overlapped them with the major and minor axes and used them on gold and grains.

    Regards
