Thread: Who else operates in the opening of London with liquidity zones?

  1. #1
Lately I am operating exclusively the opening of London using zones of liquidity and price imbalances. I have been surprised how precise rejections can be when the price cleans an area and reverses. I wanted to know if anyone else is using this approach or something similar. I use a mix of ICT concepts and basic price action. No indicators. Just structure, liquidity and time. Anyone else at this frequency?

I also operate that session and tell you one thing: if you don't understand liquidity, you're giving money to the market. All the fakeouts are designed to fish for those who don't read those areas well.

Dont take this the wrong way, but all that liquidity zones sounds to me like the new TwitterFX fashion. Isnt it just support and endurance disguised as pretty names?

I'm not so into ICT, but I've noticed that big moves almost always sweep areas where there were obvious stops.

Interesting. How do you define your areas? Do you use 1H candles or lower M5? I get lost when I get 15 minutes, but I feel that in 1H it is already late.

Good to find people who operate without indicators. I do something similar but at the opening of New York. Sometimes it aligns with London, and its pure gold. Its all in timing.

Its impressive how many people dont even know what a stop hunt is and still get in the middle of high liquidity zones. Then they complain that the market hates them.

I combine liquidity zones with order blocks and the truth is that when the price respects the structure, the trades are surgical. Yes, you have to be patient, not everything is given every day.

It took me a lot to leave the indicators, I felt blind at first. But after a month seeing only candles and structure, I realized that the indicators delayed my decisions.

The opening of London has a very special rhythm. If you are not ready with your marked areas from before, it passes over you. It is not for improvisation.
