    There are also plenty of very good trading opportunities throughout the Asian session, but I, personally, am not alert enough during that period to trade.

    I've found that the Sunday open triggers some prevent losses, sometimes to my tick, also reverses back to where it closed Friday.

    I concur. The market might not be available anyway, and year end is time for rest and celebration, in my opinion, rather than trading.

    The majority of the traders close their Forex positions on Friday. This is done in order to avoid the opening gaps of Monday.
