Volume in Forex means nothing, however, I do know that hedge fund traders and professionals utilize futures volume to estimate the major pairs.

Euro FX will be utilized for EUR/USD volume...

The same as in any other market, volumes means alot. In the instance of Forex its the order volume which transfers the price to either direction.
Here is the ch however, with the absence of any fundamental FX exchange, and no volume indiors, there is no absolute measure of volume on the market. Well except through an actual major liquidity provider orderbook

The quantity indior in MT4 is no more than a ticks counter top. Nothing else.
