It is the common rule works at any subject field of knowledge.

    For instance:
The first half (roughly 4500-5500 hours) is all about the large eduional program in a college.
The remainder is for practicing in the field choosen.
A individual is considered to be a professional after 10000 hours of practice.
However some people desire more for achieving outcomes (12000-14000 hours).

They say that it take's 10000 hours for a master in something-
IMHO- It takes as long as needed to win , clean and repeat.

    Then you are a master.

To everybody who explained the law of 10000 hours for me - thank you so much better. I had never heard of anything of this sort but it makes so much sense.

That's really true; it is a very long time procedure! However, it's really difficult to spot any particular period.

    2. Just how much time it takes to become successful trader (successful trader = any favorable %/month over half year), therefore I would love to know your stories, just how long time it taken you? Because I trade live third month but I am...
Losing at the beginning a part of this learning process so don't dispair... You need to develop realistic expectations of this market and find the get rich quick mentality out of your head that we all come in with (most anyway). If this means blowing an account or 2 so be it. The main thing is to learn learn learn.

Your shittiest experiences in the market will likely be your most valuable... so long as you choose to view it this way and stick to your own goal.

Make no mistake its a hard, long ass road but a satisfying one the same. Watch the advantages of the sentence not the negatives... The feeble will stop before they get there

Ask your questions, and go about finding the answer, over and over again. Do not believe anything you hear or see at face value, this is very significant (this goes for the market itself as well). No one really understands much and if they do they will not be telling you.

Dont get me wrong there are a few fantastic threads and thoughts around but you need to learn how to discover for yourself if it's pertinent to you. Most of it wont be.

As for me personally it took a very painful experience to get me directly. Everyones different but the general concensus is 3- 5 years.

I'm still getting there however feeling nearer everyday. I guess if when I started I was getting the results I am getting now I would be thrilled... But expertise has increased wisdom and I'm not foolish enough to think I could retire on what I understand. There is still much work to be done

Become an independent student rather than a sheep and you'll be OK.

And the most significant thing... People like myself here responding to your post are probably just bored and stroking their own self - so listen with ears and confirm with your own mind.
