I like that a potential drawdown of 100 losing trades in a row would just be a reduction of 10 percent I remember, which it was hard work to save money for trading. Protect it! (I've a little gambling account to nourish the demons)
Yeah it is more achievable than you think. Frequency is the significant factor in this. As a day trader, you can easily exceed 10 percent without excessive risk or drawdown by risking 1% of your account per transaction. Then again, I am speaking from my experience, but everybody's egy differs so their results would also vastly differ also. If your egy permits you to lose 100 transactions in a row, you may want re-evaluate that

It varies enormously from person to person.

The small percentage of people who become successful overlaps to a fantastic degree with the little group of folks who were likely to become successful at anything they had attempted to do.

I don't think in all the 10,000 hours things.

I think mastering theory comes before training, not in the exact same time or later. With trading, someone's 10,000 hours expertise from a standing start could probably be compressed into 2,000-3,000 hours if preceded by a few hundred hours of fantastic eduion.

I believe that it's quite a fantastic definition, as these things go. Anyone who can trade regularly for 6 consecutive months without having a losing month knows what he is doing, particularly if the total is distributed approximately evenly over 30 trades a month or even more, during that moment.

Personally, I believe that eduion and practice should go hand in hand. True, that's my subjective opinion - typically I want to be shown how to do something, rather it merely being clarified to me.

No one can mention any time period! It's not possible really! I know many traders who are trading from a number of ages back, but till now they're struggling! In any case, many traders are doing nicely with less than one year trading experience! You just have to invest your own time without proper determination and dediion!

True. It is an extremely subjective experience and one shouldn't compare themselves to others. You'll get there when you arrive.

    Great.
There's nobody who can make certain the time when success comes in to this market area.
But I really appreciate at your point , if anyone can ensures real eduion with fantastic practice ,
he or she could accelerate the course of success.

I needed almost 3 years for becoming a consistent participant! Yes, I understand till today I have to improve a lot, but today I can repeat my TPs in my live trading! I use a private combo trading egy that I made based on my technical and fundamental trading analysis!

The initial post was created back in 2010. It's been seven decades now, would you think your trading has improved over that period of time?

Less than two years at best instance.
