Usually, retail trading has default lag time from Window Operating System around 25-30 milliseconds, while Institution (big guys) can get and reacts to news within 1-10 ms. based on their geographical to news resource.
Recently I am using the Hedge Fund Technology that reacts around 3 ms. on all Tick impulse (like news, and all abnormalities of the market), and it works fine. All you need is understanding why your resources is not working and correct them a proper regulated broker (not a hoax ones)

Trust me, you will find way to exchange the news.

Yes, I believe news trading functions, but maybe not the way most people thinks. If you are at a retail broker and you wait for the news itself you could be late almost all of the time. If you start two places in reverse directions the extreme spread can kill both. However, it doesnt matter if you have 1k or 100k, should you risk the same percent of your capital you win or lose the same percent. If a person want speed up the reaction he can use pending orders, so can acquire 20-40 ms, since that's fierd about the brokers server, not at home on the platform. There are other tactics, last months I learnd a lot, also made a lot of programming. I believe news trading functions, but needs lots of prep. Good execution/broker has become the most essential.

For news trading metatrader isnt the best choice, since you cant view the tickdata, but in the moment I use it, but I will replace it.

Could you discuss details. Currently I'm with ICMarkets and it's terrible. Looks like that they grip quotes and my orders are executed with 2 to 3 seconds lag to what I see around the monitor.
I enjoy CTrader because I can implement my ideas from C#, maybe not quasi-language of MT.
However ICMarket is not suitable for trading at all because of their glitches.

I would greatly appreciate your input.

    Yes , agree with you.
Never have I discovered at any broker that doesn't cheat with their customers during news.
