It's possible to utilize normally your MT4 with its egies , indiors , graphics ,etc and utilize JForex ( Dukas ) just for open/close the performance .

I'd go every time. DukasCopy are OK but if you want to use MT4 it is really a pain because you want to use an MT4 bridge.

You must select Dukascopy. They are too famous because of their enormous liquidity pool. But, their trading platform are not friendly because of this Java background.
IC Markets have numerous bad reviews on ForexPeaceArmy.
I myself trade on https://goo.gl/9rvRCl in order to win their monthly https://goo.gl/BZnx0C prize. This broker utilizes the liquidity out of LMAX, one of the best liquidity suppliers and broker alternative businesses in London.

Why should coffee ensure it is not user friendly?
You just download a launcher that has everything bundled, no extra steps required, it also updates automatically.
And works on all platforms (Windows, macOS and Linux).

JForex supplies a lot more compared to MT4, range bar charts, tick charts, renko, etc.. . And high quality tick information history with bid and ask prices.
You can also chose bid or ask prices for limit orders that's actually neat.

Don't know about cTrader but definitely better than MT4.

I have read some seriously bad reviews about IC markets where they market low spreads but the moment you trade size, you're slipped badly.

I am sure there are some people who have had this encounter here.

As far as I like LMAX, LMAX is just one of Darwinex liquidity resources since they're not that great as a LP - it is fairly thin.

    Back to the main query:
JForex is a fantastic platform in my view but just like any other platform it is of course not for everyone. Check it out on a demo account. Java has nothing to do with the user friendliness of a program but it may seem somewhat different.

    Concerning the broker itself:
I would rather put my money using Dukas than icMarkets.

I have traded with quite large lot dimensions on IC and have no problems. I use their ECN account. They also offer the classic bucket shop account and that might be the one which we've experienced difficulties with

I've used both and for me IC Markets is better than Dukas. The costumer service is faster, there are more depost/withdrawal options and they have improved software. They are both great whatsoever...
